Lethal Performance usually does. The also have 2 big sales at least a year giving 15% off Whipple kits. I would call them and ask.
Per lethal...the 15% off is going to be in March

I've decided to go Paxton thru beefcake for the same reasons you've decided to go with the whipple as far as wife driving your ride. And I think the Paxton will be better suited for what I'm trying to achieve and beefcake has the best price on his "beefcake specials" hands down. Either way you go I'm sure you won't be disappointed

..Thanks for the information and I can not wait if Lethal Performance put that sale on in march.
$7,135.75 Stage 2 Kit with free shipping will be a great deal for members if and when that happens.

Just so you know, daily driving in the 3.75 pulley, my heat exchanger fluid doesn't even get warm. If your not building boost all the time, which daily driving you shouldn't be, heat should be fine even with a smaller pulley. Iat2 will even go lower than MAF iat if I'm sitting in traffic too long.

If you want to take it down a notch in power, that's mostly throttle control and the flight control makes that easy. In HPT you could set the pedal map tables to a Max of 75% or lower, the by gear stuff would be a bit trickier. Sounds like you are better off with the flight control. Tune changes with HPT would be a minute, changes in flight control are seconds.

Yeah, i don't think temps are going to be an issue on the street, i'm more concerned about heat on the track (road course).

Yeah I think a lot of people end up with air bubbles in their system they can't get out, as they don't realize you need to push the car, like on a track, to heat that fluid up to build pressure in that system to help force the bubbles out. So after install, do the normal belt checks and fluid checks, but also check it after the first few times you push it around a track.

Anyone know what the largest pulley you can run? I seem to recall reading on here that 4.125 was the largest before running into hood clearance issues?

i don’t Think you need to worry about a bigger pulley, when i drive normal it feels stock. Just tell her to be gentle with the throttle or Else she’s in for some serious fun and you Will never get your car back :amen:

Yeah, but i don't want to be spinning the compressor faster than i need to and create more parasitic loss and heat. Rather just run the right pulley in the first place.

Not to be disrespectful, but your overthinking this a bit. With the 3.75" pulley you will be no way be even close to over spinning or creating additional drag. It's really a no brainer. The Whipple cal will drive like stock and your wife or teenage child could drive it and not know its even boosted until the pedal is mashed into the fun zone.

And you can use flight control to lower power output.

I understand all your reasons, and i get it. I understand that i'm nowhere near over spinning the compressor, i'm not worried about that. The compressor will still be spinning faster on the 3.75" pulley than it would with a 4.25" pulley for example. And if i'm artificially restricting my horsepower electronically then that is just wasted energy.

I don't want this to turn in to a discussion in to the reasons for doing something, i just want to know the possibilities and limitations.

So, please, anyone know what is the largest pulley you can run with the stock hood?
