I have the open and have not tried the closed but driving >45mph my IAT's stay around 3-4F above ambient and that's in hot Louisiana heat. Stop and go have seen 130ish but drops as soon as I start moving. Everyone is saying closed is better but I haven't seen anyone posting lower IAT1's when...

My car came with 255x45x19 which is 28.04 tall. It also came with a spare tire setup. I don't know it's dia. but Ford sells this setup so it should work temporarily if you trust Ford?? Looks like your 285x35x19 is 26.85 tall. I would think that dia will work.

Does this work with the open air box?

Looks like the new bottle treats 1gallon per oz, I believe the old stuff was 6 gallons per oz. Sounds like same snake oil just mix it stronger, more $$$ and so far no results or signs of improvement :( Not the first $100 wasted.

When I bought mine there was only Stage1 available with upgraded twin fans and 132mm TB. Then Stage 2 comes out, #72 injectors, High volume IC pump $$$ Now there is another heat exchanger eliminating the noisy fans $$$ I know I don't have to buy any of this but how can you not, it just...

Love my Whipple and how it drives but if I had it to do all over again it would be Twins. 2 years into my Whipple=no turning back, I will just keep spending more and more $$ for ea. new upgrade:(

As important as true IAT's are you would think we would have a way to read them by now, especially with what we have invested in this system. :(

I have Whipple and their tune. I do not think my dash gage reads IAT-II. That would be nice I am about 3-5F above ambient cruising. Waiting for Whipple to release their tune revision to allow data logging with the Flare Tool. Heard it's coming just don't know when.. Wish they would hurry:)

I have the Fare Tool and Whipple's tune. What else do I need to read IAT-II? How do you read it with Flare Tool?

Checked mine and both good. I have the new style nuts to install but may just wait now.

Same here, would like to get this but why spend another $550 if the actual IAT-II numbers are NO better. Like many I already have the dual fans. The larger one may be good but is it any better?
