Interesting.

Does anyone have a visual of the dampeners side by side to see the differences - or at least have the knowledge to know what dampener they have before hand?

Any Ford part number references.?
One other thing to note - it does appear that the 2011-2017 damper, is different than the 2018-2023 (Both Elastomer designs) so not sure why Ford went away from the fluid damper on the 2018-2019's.

@bankyf that was my interpretation the first time I read it as well. But I reread it to mean that only late build balancers would be available IF it had to be replaced for some other reason.

I feel safe with my IW/Kinetic damper/stud combo. (knock on wood).

It's a combination of side load on the snout, more weight on the snout, and moving the applied force further out on the snout, because Whipple uses the front drive (and extends it out even further --> many do this) for the blower.
How much weight is really getting put on the snout though with a supercharger? Its like any other belt driven accessory like the alternator or AC compressor. Hell, you can spin the SC pully with your fingers. The weight is being supported by either the block or a mount depending whether you go TS or Centri.

It's about the force, weight placement and simple load mechanics. The Coyote crank snout diameter is only 1.250" as it is. Installing anything further out (with a considerably amount of weight) creates more flex/side leverage on the snout.

Rotational load.. It probably takes 100 crank hp to spin a Whipple at 1000whp. That's not spinning it with your fingers.

Yeah, I read that the GT500 supercharger consumes approx 90 crank hp to make the 760 :like:

My calculations say its closer to 141hp. :) My 2650 rotors at 850whp, probably taking 163.3hp.
