That is what is recommended, that is what it is shipped with. Can't go wrong! :)
While MC is good oil, let's consider the cost. It's cheaper than full syn Penz and Mobil 1. Using it in bulk, they save money.

As stated by another Poster, if you buy any "good oil", and change as directed, it doesn't matter. Even Super Tech isn't "bad" oil and filters.

Indipendent tests showed
1. Amsoil is best of addictives and quality.
2. Ultra plat pennzoil comes second.
3. Mobil1 is a great compromise btw quality and price.
If I may
More than the super mega ultra quality. Just change oil more often man. I use the car on track and use mobil1 0w40 (with motorkote) but i chamge oil every few hundreds miles. Filter is also important to be clean.
"Independent tests" or your opinion? :cwl:

Nothing but Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-20 in the Mustang, 0w-20 in the Accord. Outstanding oil.
I agree 100%. And not a drop comes from crude. In mine however I use 5w30.

Canadian Tire always seems to have one brand or another of synthetic oil on at half price. That's the one I use. I won't buy anything other than a name brand oil but I have never been loyal to any one brand and I do switch brands if there's money to be saved. The owners manual says to only use 5W20 that shows this on the label "WSS-M2C945-B1" and virtually all major brands meet that standard.

My last Mustang had 253,000 kms on it when I sold it. It never burnt a drop of oil in it's life and it never lost any noticeable power. So brand is not important to me but meeting the required standard is.
I just picked up 24 5qt jugs of 5w30 Mobil 1 @ 1/2 price + son's 40% discount, so that's some inexpensive oil right there...gotta love CT

I don't think you can buy packaged water that cheap!
Considering how cheap "full synth" is I'm amazed there's even a market for old dyno or semi.

I use 10W60 Motul or Liquimoly inn my aircooled/dry clutch motorcycles, and was considering liquimoly for my next Oil Change in the Bullitt. Interesting results. Of course none of these oils were truly bad, I would like to see how top brand dead dino oils compare.

I'm only at 4600 miles on the Bullitt. I did a 1000 mile change and used the Motocraft semi synthetic 5W/30 and Larger Ford Racing filter. May stick with it for the 10K change, may go with the Pennzoil next time based on this.

Haven't changed any oil in my 2020 ecoboost yet! But will go with Penzz oil 5w-30 ultra and motorcraft filter.
