GORGEOUS!!! My next 350 will be lead foot. Couldn’t decide between it or avalanche. I think mine needs paint correction now!
I would go leadfoot all day, every day!

…and this is coming from a guy with an avalanche🫣

Finally done with its ‘new to me’ steps: state inspection and oil change complete.

Decided to also have alignment checked and wheels balanced. Everything was in the green. Found a slight bend on the inner lip of one front rim; must have met a pot hole it didn’t like.

Got Ford ESP PremiumCare 6/40.
Looks like you are getting everything sorted out!
I received an education last year on how susceptible these wheels are to bends due to potholes. Never really thought about it before but less tire means more risk when encountering potholes.

Ouch. Mine looks just the lip; not as bad as that.
Did you just get a replacement through Ford?

That a combination of 1st world problems / the price of doing business, LOL. Forged wheels will help combat that up to a point.

Also there are wheel repair places, probably in any major city/area, that are super good at wheel repairs and making true again. If you don't have one local, guess you'd have to do the math on any shipping vs just buying a replacement.

thanks, I actually had the rear wheel repaired, the front one was too damaged for my comfort level, so I ordered a new one. I then ordered a spare front and rear as the OEM wheels are becoming harder to find.

Got mad at it. Love everything about it except this lousy infotainment system. Even after the latest Sync updates, it still auto turns on the radio and defaults to AM radio if I start the car and don't play anything through any sources. Every. Damn. Time.

Also wouldn't let me turn off the head unit again (second time this has happened). Was playing music through Android auto, and unplugged the phone to take a Zoom call. The speakers kept playing music, could not turn off the HU. Pressing the power button did nothing, and the phone did not have media playing. Had to just turn the volume all the way down.

Lastly, I get the "unavailable while driving" message when I try and edit the Android Auto screen or my kid tries to play the Game Snacks. Car is parked, hand brake is on, in gear or neutral makes no difference.

Just basic stuff you'd expect sorted in any vehicle.

Sorry to hear you are having these issues. I am assuming your B-B warranty has run out?
Not sure if this is a software update issue or a problem with the unit itself. Might want to consider looking at a new or used replacement unit.
I was just at my dealership today admiring a 2025 GT Convertible (Sticker was 70k) with those lovely ipads stuck to the dash. My first thought was.... those are not going to age well.
None of these electronic ent systems will.

Perfect day here in Georgia to let the snake out of the cage! Played with it aimlessly for about 2 hours. No destination in sight.

Just put on OPR lugs, kinda cool how you can see the studs! The factory ones were rusted to Hell and misshapen.

Girlfriend went to a game night with some girlfriends, so I drank beer and cleaned up the Shelby for Cars and Coffee tomorrow 🍻🐍

I am definitely never going to beat the "middle-aged white guy with a sports car that would rather spend Friday night drinking beer alone in the garage and detailing rather than being social" allegations. In fact, I think I will admit them in full and embrace them 😎

I think this is the cleanest it has ever been inside and out maybe since the ceramic coating and paint correction two and a half years ago.

I also may be taking recommendations for lug nuts soon. The SVR R350 wheels that I have came with a spline lug nut adapter, and I have to use it in conjunction with a socket on the impact or the torque wrench or whatever to get it to work. It is starting to round off while using the impact. I would really rather just have standard lug nuts that I can just use a socket that matches perfectly instead of having to do the bullshit I have to do now. Not sure if that makes sense, I am three beers and a few bourbons deep, anyway here are pics (the spill pic was me kicking over my mineral spirits, the likely culprit is in-hand)

I say it is a sign to go ahead with a weight savings opportunity. That is my plan for when all that crap eventually shits the proverbial bed. Maybe I can get away with treating the AC the same when my compressor goes like everyone else's 💀

But I won't pretend the convenience they bring won't be missed. Having maps up on Android Auto for road trips being the biggest one . . .

Man I really need to ride in another R to see if I'm just old and crotchety, or if there's something up with my Magnerides. There is zero discernable difference to me between the normal and sport settings although the dash will indicate I'm switching modes. But I'm fairly certain I've read on this sub from other R owners that it's a noticeable change, gives the car two characters.

Other R owners what are your thoughts?

Had my oil change and inspection. All good and I got a lollipop at checkout.

I mainly notice the difference at speeds above maybe 60mph. The difference between the modes is between Stiff and Stiffer. I don't find either objectionable but it is noticeable. I would suggest going over the same freeway expansion joints in both modes and then seeing if there is a difference.

I noticed it more in the exhaust note and the steering Feel And throttle Reponse not so much in the suspension. I do run in sport mode on the track and I can definitely tell a difference in acceleration and handling in the corners. It is a little stiffer, but that is not at typical highway speeds going over railroad tracks and expansion joints.
