If you are in Florida, warranties are price controlled and you may only purchase from a Florida vendor, not out of state. I am looking at a Ford extended warranty as my current ESP runs out in March. I am getting quotes from $5K for drivetrain to $8K for bumper to bumper (7 years).

Aside from not burning my hand, I don't find removing the dipstick an issue. But getting it back in can be a hunt, especially if the lighting is not good.

Unfortunately I am in Florida which heavily regulates warranty products. I can only purchase from an in state vendor. Further pricing is fixed so there is no benefit in shopping better rates. Best I can do is some dealer perks. A few oil changes will be appreciated.

My Acura is on 1.5 years since last oil change and the monitor is a 40%. It seems more realistic calculating multiple variables for oil life. That said, I usually change every 1-1.5 years regardless.

The oil minder seems to be more time based than mileage based. I put < 1500 miles / year on my GT350, yet the oil minder seems to time out around 10 months. I noticed it dropped from 5% / 100 miles to 0 after driving 5 miles.
