The trans issue I don't know about nor will I speculate.

To properly fix that leak it needs to be plastic welded. I also have had sucess using JB weld and RTV.

It is not still taped is it?

If so it would explain your slower than expected 60 to 120 times.
No longer taped. Replaced the connector and seal and bought a new hose that won’t put any pressure.

I wanted to get a tune by Wengerd or this one user here (dunno if I should mention his name )but both require my stock file and I don’t have it lol currently have a Lund tune.
What tuning device? The ngauge will automatically save it. Maybe ask Lund for the stock file.

some elaboration is probably warranted to clarify "shifting issues".
When using paddle shifters going from 3rd to 4th gear during high load and high rpm the car would skip 4th and shift to 5th. Then once you let off the car after a few seconds would shift back to 4th.

My tune from Lund had the issue but once I mentioned it they fixed it.

I think it’s an issue with certain cars stock tunes, but that’s just a theory.

All this because of a crappy JLT...Lund's spokesman Alex is pretty outspoken on how crap they are. One of the few things I agree with him on

Popular does not always equal best, or good. An example would be VHS vs Beta Max.

You didn’t answer the question. What’s so crap about them? Standard hi flow filter and molded plastic. Not much to screw up.

Severe mismatch between average dia and exit dial at TB is generally a bad idea.

Hasn’t been a problem in the 25 years they been making them for various cars. Also that’s not a reason for it leaking… you are reaching here on this one.

Did a quick look at the log labeled "JLT fixed highway and pull"
Your fuel trims are out. Your LTFT bank 1 is averaging 11% adding fuel, your LTFT bank 2 is averaging 9% additional fuel.

Your STFT's are averaging 0% adding or subtracting fuel, so it has learned.

Some in the tuning world say 10% trims are OK, personally I don't like anything over 4% on avg. I'll look more as I get time and see if the MAF curve is correct for a JLT sized MAF tube.

Since when has popularity meant that anything was good? They're cheap and big. Most people are dumb and just follow the crowd. And the crowd typically buys what's cheap. The build quality of every one of their products is crap and the quality control is worse

Not quite the same but whatever lol. Lund has at least put out real quality products at some point. JLT never has, whines about idea/design theft (that part’s pretty similar lol) and they’ve only gotten worse since their S&B buyout

A chimp could install it and sourcing replacement clamps and couplers is easy. How did this $300 crap plastic intake make it difficult for mr pro engine builder and two tuners to not be able to do a simple maf curve and fueling tune? Spoiler, it didn’t. I won’t go further because I’ll get banned, but I can assure you that Derel wasn’t the problem here and for Lund to be ok tuning around a “mechanical issue” or some sort says a lot about their business.

Many tuners have had tons of issues with JLT specific garbage intakes. There may also be more going on here, I’m not blaming one thing or one party. My point is that you’re not doing anybody involved any favors by using sub-eBay quality parts
