What tuning device? The ngauge will automatically save it. Maybe ask Lund for the stock file.
Lund was the only one that was able to tune me WITHOUT the stock file.

Did it take 5 days or more to get responses back when he tuned you? Because that is how long any sort of reply is taking for me. I was running an SCT device. I am going to switch to the RTD+, which I bought from their website. I purchased that from Ortiz last Thursday, emailed them with the order number, and told them I would need a tune for the RTD+ instead of SCT. The device is supposed to arrive tomorrow at my house, and I still have no tune to load.
I’m SCT tuned but I’ve never waited more than 2 business days. I have used the RTD+ with another tuner and with that your tune will be downloaded through the RTD+ on the TDN app. Nothing they can really do until you get the device

That is my fear. It will come in Thursday, I will set it up and then email them, then it won't be until next Tuesday until they send me a tune, at which point it would be 12 days since they originally knew I purchased the device from them. I don't know if that is unreasonable or not, but I am just sharing my experience with a tuner this thread is about.

Seems to be far off what others are saying Wengerd does in terms of responsiveness.

Wengerd keeps business hours as he should. If he didnt, people would be expecting tune updates all hours of the nights and weekends. If you are ok with same business day service or next business day, then hes the man. Trying to do updates after hours is a slippery slope nobody wants to get into as a business owner.

I know, same or next business is what I am hearing about him. That seems to be way better then the service I am getting.

We still often run after hrs but when you get started going after hrs everyone exspects it and that means I'm working 24/7. Usually after receiving the stock tune we have them made within 2hrs as long as we were informed the stock read was uploaded to TDN

I had cams and a gen 3 shortblock with Lund.

But I highly doubt that was the issue as JLT had issues but stock air box didn’t.

Also did you ever figure out the shifting issue? I would send you the Lund tunes so you have the solution but I don’t think you can read them.
We have since ran into 1 other car that had this issue even stock like yours and resolved it

I'm confused, are you talking about Ortiz or Wengerd?
I don't know why everyone is being confused. If my comments are read in their entirety, you would see that I am currently being tuned by Ortiz, and you would see that my service with them has so far been subpar, at least to me.

I am not tuned by Wengerd, but since this is a Ortiz vs Wengerd thread, I am basically saying that, from what I have heard by other people, others would be better off going to Wengerd than Ortiz.

Who is tuning you?
Ortiz.

Only reason I went with them instead of you is because I had an SCT device already, so dropping an extra $500 at the timed seemed unreasonable. But now that my SCT device bricked, and I am hearing reports of this happening to others, I went ahead and purchased the RTD anyway.

Now the only reason stopping me from switching is.... i guess I want to feel like I received a product for my purchase.

It's crystal clear who's tuning your car. I don't know why they're confused either. Especially since I'm in the exact same situation. I previously purchased an SCT device and didn't want to throw $500 dollars away just because most tuners dropped SCT. Should've sold the SCT and bought an RTD. Would've gone with Wengerd and been happy. Besides being extremely slow and needing a ton of revisions, he doesn't address the issues I clearly state in my emails.

I had scheduled an Ortiz remote tunning session (extra 175) + tune cost. Car was on a dyno. After 8+ revisions that day. A few more the next day. Car wasn't making the power it should. Was told to schedule a 2nd remote session. That's when I reached out to Wengerd performance and paid for a tune. No charge extra for rush/tunning session. Next day the car was making good power as it should. Revisions came fast and only 3/4 to dial it in. Not sure what the issue was. I'm sure others have has good results with Ortiz, just not me.
