Warranty advice

I'm considering upgrading from my 2021 Mach 1 to a 2021 GT500 Super Snake. The GT500 is used, only 1,600 miles on it but now out of warranty. Opinion needed. Should I worry about issues with an almost new car, and if so should I buy some kind of warranty? I don't trust the ones advertising on TV day and night.

As long as I'm soliciting opinions, how about insurance? Any issues finding insurance for a high HP car? Presently with USAA.

Haggerty or Grundy for Insurance, stated value. The warranty side, that may be difficult finding a company that actually honor it on that car. Main reason being its not an oem powertrain. Ford itself would insure it if was stock, but you’ll need to dots your i’s and cross your t’s and make sure any company that states they’ll offer a policy on that car will actually honor it if need be. Best of luck. We’ll need pics. I wasn’t aware of SA doing the Super Snake on a Gt500 back then, thought it was based on the Gt.

Edit: Not sure on Grundy, but Haggerty will most likey ask if you’ve had any formal performance driving training with that car(the added power). Haggerty gave me discounts for various schools and various racing experience.

No

They made Signature Edition (SE), King of the Road (KR), and Code Red versions of the 2020-2022 GT500

2015 and newer Super Snakes were born GT Mustangs.
