Here is a comparison between Ziegler and Flood Ford for 2020 GT500 that’s brand new. $0 deductible 8 years.

I got this with my Raptor 2 years ago. Curious which plan you went with Jaime on your 500? I’m debating with the 6 or 7 year plan with 60k
I went with the 8 year / 60,000 mile zero deductible plan.

I wanted the most amount of years, as i will keep this car and pass down to my kids.
I wanted the zero deductible, as I feel if I have to take it in more than twice (likely on a first year run) in the 8 years, it pays for itself.
I will have 7,500 per year with this plan, which is more than I will need. I average 4,000-5,000 per year on my mustangs, and will do about the same on my Raptor.

That's also the plan I plan to choose, or at least SHOW to the financing guy to see if they'll match either Flood or Ziegler, Jaime. If not, I'll go with the same plan as you chose from Flood.

I’m curious. What is an acceptable margin? And would you be ok with the same scenario from a customer in your dealership? I do think there’s some irony there in you purchasing a Gt500 considering the Gtr from your product line. Great choice in the 500. The Gtr is a badarse car as well.
margin can vary...if I am paying msrp or higher, then the rest of what I buy better be at cost lol. And I had a GTR for 4 years...modded to 700hp. It was AMAZING.

I got the 8 year 100k 50 deductible way more miles then I need as like you on my mustangs I put about 6K a year but I’m hoping to increase that a little with this one to about 10k it’s really a dream as time and weather will make this tough but everyone is allowed to dream right

When I was finishing the paperwork on my GT500, I asked the finance guy about ESP, and if they matched Flood’s rates? He looked up the numbers for me and matched the numbers, exactly.

As a side note, my Service Advisor cautioned me regarding non-Ford ESP plans. He said they generally cover the same things, but the approval can be slower, and, more importantly, they won’t pay the dealer’s hourly rates. Say the dealer’s rate is $120/hour, and the plan only covers $90/hr, you have to pay the difference before they will touch your vehicle.

I can't imagine not getting a Ford ESP for this car. It'll be tough enough to get parts as it is and a I would think that a store in the system would have a bit more clout to get them.

And NO ONE likes to pick their noses while their beauty is in a shop at the local dealer so extended waiting on coverage is a deal break for this old geezer. :-)

I agree, definitely get a Ford ESP plan. Flood Ford's is the exact same plan offered through all dealerships, just cheaper.

Scott: Flood Ford seems to have the best pricing on ESP's. I showed my "finance guy" the Flood Ford prices and he was able to get within fifty bones so I gave the purchase to the store rather than Flood.

I plan on using their pricing when I do my deal...just didn't know if pricing (cost) has changed if at all...
