No wonder why the car was driving soooooo bad. To think that the shop literally took my car to get a alignment of which they sent me a picture of, and it come back like this.

Wow, that was worse than mine when I brought it in. Bet it feels like a new car now!

They couldn’t get the camber in the rear around .50? Or less? Still quite a bit for drag racing. Factory is supposed to be -1.5 in the rear.

Night and day difference! Not sure if it’s perfected yet but we are moving in the right direction. The car was scary before when I drove it.

Here’s my alignment sheet for street/strip racing.

If I don’t like mine, I will ask them about adjusting to your spec. I will find what works.

Good question. I don’t know anything about alignments but it look like I’m in for somez learning.

The less negative camber in the rear will maximize contact patch hence more traction for straight line. I went with somewhere in between street and strip at -.5. Pretty Drastic improvement in 60 ft time vs Factory. If you’re really serious about the strip you want 0, close to it or even .25 positive. When the suspension squats on launch it will be near 0. If you want street/strip then my setup or NGOT8rs will work great. Now it won’t handle quite as well in the turns but doesn’t look like that’s your jam anyways. The front looks fine, I would rather give up a little bit on 1/4 mile time and have better handling at 135+ mph. Mine is not supercharged but when I made the changes to the setup it tracks dead straight street/strip and puts the power down better. It used to slide the rear a bit on the 1-2 and 3-4 shift when it barked the tires but now it doesn’t. Good luck and love your car!

While we are on the topic of wheel alignments, I thought I would leave this here…

Ever thought about getting a Passport Escort 360Cam? DO IT!

Boost + automatic = fuck yea
I think the Mach 1 scared him a bit. He told me to “be really careful with this car!” That is what made me go back and check the footage.

Surprised you let him drive it.
I told them not to give me the car back till it stop pulling to the right under power and rubbing the right rear tire against the inside wheel-well.

Have you considered switching rear shocks to double adjustables to tailor how the car handles for street vs strip? In addition, spring spacers can raise you back up. I have 1/4 spring spacers on my BMR Magneride drag springs which actually raise the car back up 1/2”. Apparently, when you run spring spacers, whatever the thickness is that you select, they will raise the car up by twice that amount.

If yours is a Magneride car, you’ll either need a set of Magneride delete se sorts or make your own. I chose to make my own, after trying the ones from Shock Delete Engineering worked intermittently.
