Well, I picked mine up from the dealer after 24 days in service and it (surprise!?) still had the vibration. I took it back a couple days later, and (surprise!?) the dealer could no longer feel the vibration. It looks like we're at the point now where Ford is instructing dealers to simply ignore customer's complaints of vibrations if they are too hard to find or require vibration equipment. So, I looked around and found a couple vibration apps that I will use to at least record that there is a vibration. I'm still considering the next step of buying a set that can be used to isolate the problem since the dealers obviously don't use them in their troubleshooting. Lastly, in parallel, I've started the process with the BBB. Don't let anyone fool you -- this is an extremely painful process. You'll be lucky to get a return phone call or email within several days and luckier yet to get more than a RTFB reply to any questions you might have.

The Lemon Law process wasn't painful at all, I filled out the online forms and submitted them and got a call within a few days of signing them and faxing them in.
Have you sent Ford your official notice of a final repair attempt?

For me, dealing with Ford was a huge pain, but dealing with the BBB was a pleasure. There is not a single thing that the BBB could have done to improve the experience.

The tech advisor told me they had only seen this issue on an Eco-boost and that it was the driveshaft.

I had a 95 4.6 Thunderbird years ago and had to have the drive shaft replaced so. I have tracked and raced shifter carts to Cars so, I'm a little bit versed in when somethings off. If they don't want to acknowledge it, I'll either just replace the DS or dump the car, sad that These guys don't stand behind there product.

Has anyone considered taking this up with there local news stations, publicity is generally the biggest pain in the marketing side of the business, and is what gets Automakers to actually fix there cars.

My car at 5000 miles has now developed the "clunk" when you shift from park to drive/reverse. Some guys have said it is the pinion on the trans output. I just don't have the time to deal with another 2 month fiasco with Ford.

I have a 15 automatic that started to have a vibration at 1200-1500 miles. Took it in and they(local Ford dealer) decided that the vibration was from the rear differential. That was back in August. They finally got the rear diff in last month and installed it in my vehicle. Now I have 6k miles and still have a vibration. Starting to get the run around from the dealer as if they do no feel the vibration. It comes in at about 50-52mph and up. At 65mph there is a humming noise that comes from the vehicle since the differential was replaced. Dealer tried to say it was the "Mustang drone" my response to them was "Well if that is the case then why does it still make the noise when I put it in neutral and shut the vehicle off" It is not the tires either.
Also I can go through a sweeping turn such as merging from one highway to another and through the apex of the turn I can get the vehicle to "pitch/wobble" to where your head will bob up and down with it. Can duplicate it through right or left had sweeping turns. Also to note I have also noticed the thud noise when in garage. Have noticed if you get to say 40mph put the vehicle in neutral and come to a stop. Not a heavy stop but a normal stop, right before coming to a complete stop there is a thud.
I am waiting on the dealer to notify me that my door seals are in(for wind noise and deformed looking seals) at which time I will be leaving the vehicle with them till the vibration if fixed. May also looking into proceeding with lemon law.

I'm wondering if I just put a really really loud exhaust on the car will drown out the vibration, I mean the car runs fine just has this annoying Ford Vibration feature ha.

Thank you -- I wasn't aware of needing to send a notice of final repair attempt. Since my last visit was another "vibration, what vibration?", I've been working on vibration measurements (yes, there's an app for that) so I can compare vibes in mine to cars on the lot. The fun will be finding a convertible this time of year and presenting the results since our BBB cannot open anything from email.

FWIW, mine seems to be lessening a bit. Also, the vibration is felt almost entirely in the steering wheel. Gear lever is steady, and only a slight vibration felt with my hand on the center console. Which makes me wonder if it is/was a front tire slightly out of round?

Or I could becoming psychologically used to it.
(Coming from high-end audio: "No, sir, your speakers are not sounding better after 200 hours of break-in time. It is you that is acclimating to the non-changing sound of your new speakers!")

Note that I have taken no steps towards remedy. This is because it is fairly minor. I am waiting to rotate my tires next year, and check underneath for the index marks, etc. IOW, all the things that I can do myself after following this thread.

I still have one tire out of round they will not replace since it is within Ford specs. It is out of spec for other tire sellers but Ford seems to feel that their Firestone Explorer fiasco is far enough behind that they can lower their standards and await a crisis. So much for "Quality is Job 1" I guess.

What method is used to check for out of round? Seems like I can jack up my car, place a block of wood on the floor almost touching the tire, and then rotate the wheel to see if it rubs in one spot.

Take it to Discount Tire or somebody like that and watch them check it out?
For those who don't drive in the winter, flat spots could form on the tires if the weight of the car is on them for several weeks at a time. This will shake your car really good.

You won't feel the driveline vibration in the steering wheel. Mainly in the floor/seat and it usually will drone at a certain speed. Plus, DL vibration will be 3-4x the frequency of a wheel/tire. Take you car to a place that has a road force balancer and have them check all 4 tires. It makes a huge difference.

I've used that exact method before to find a tire out of round. Make sure you drive the car for 5+ miles before doing the test so any flat spot from sitting is gone. And try to jack the tire up off the ground ASAP after driving and do the test. If the tire is out of round, you will see it with a check like this.
