Just picked up my POS from the dealer. The only other thing I asked them to look at while it was there was an issue with the stereo. Guess what...that is still not fixed either.

Absolutely pitiful. I have no words.

I felt them same way the first time I brought it in, have another appt in a week. Then ill try another dealer if they dont fix it. Thinking about trading it in on something else. Should have kept my 2014 Mustang

I hope you have better luck with the second dealer.

When I picked up my car today, the service writer seemed genuinely sorry that Ford would not let them fix my car. He knew that I knew that you don't keep a car in the shop for four days if there is nothing wrong with it.

I was really excited back when I first found out that the Mustang was going global. Now I am just embarrassed. After 112 years in business, THIS is the best Ford can do??? :barf: I just hope that after their long wait, our fellow enthusiasts around the world get cars that are more thoroughly debugged than the ones they are giving to us. :tsk:

If this does become all too prevalent, it will be fixed, via TSB or whatever.

I took my car out on the highway today specifically to see if I have any high speed vibrations, luckily it seems smooth with no issues anywhere from about 0mph to slightly above the speed limit lol. I do notice a vibration during any acceleration which I attribute to normal vibrations from the motor - happens even when revving in idle - and they are very mild vibrations.

Per your question, I just got over 2400 miles on mine and started noticing the vibration. Exactly what you guys are talking about...between 50-70 MPH. I am currently on a 350 mile trip from Anchorage to Seward Alaska and return and went to the local library here to see if there was a thread on this....boy is there ever. Wish me luck with my dealer.

What a waste of my time...Crown Ford in Nashville had my car for 4 days last week, and did absolutely nothing with it. I took my car in to another dealer today (the 4th one I've tried), and they have already found that the wheels are out of balance, and they ordered me a new stereo to fix the issue I was having with mine. I am cautiously optimistic that I may have FINALLY found a Ford dealer that I actually want to do business with. We'll see what happens in the next few days.

Please send a PM over, Falconeddie. Include your VIN, mileage, name, phone number, and dealer info. I'll loop in a customer service manager to work with you and the dealer.

Hey icarumba,

I hope this is going to be the fix to resolve the issue. As the CSM is my highest point of contact, I've updated your case notes to reflect your frustration, given the current situation.

Thanks Jeff! I really hope it can be fixed - it's an amazing car, and I want to be able leave all of this aggravation behind and start enjoying it!!

Well, mine is back in for the vibration and a couple of other things. Drive shaft came in so I am keeping my fingers crossed. Pretty happy with the dealer/Ford at this point just because of the way they are treating me. Yeah, the car has some issues, but overall the car is very nice and as long as we can get everything resolved, I will he happy. Loaner this time is pretty nice. 2014 Fusion SE. Will update when I get my baby back.

They still have my car for a couple of other things they needed to look at, so it will be early next week before I get her back. I have new seatback cushions on the way because they were not cooling very well, the exhaust leak should get fixed this time and the body shop is taking care of the spots where the trunk rubbed on the bumper cover. Dealer has been pretty cool about this and Ford has managed to make me happy as well. Will update as soon as I get her back.

Vibration Range Increase

I only get this issue when I hit 120-130 mph.
I get the rumble from ~40 to 70 now. Unfortunately, this is the range of the speed limits for my daily commute.

This issue makes driving my first new car very frustrating.

It should not be this way.

Mako....So did you notice this from day 1, I did! And never in my years have I ever had a vehicle that acted this way. So I checked the tire balance which was right on and then ordered the custom DS which fixed 95% of the problem. There is considerable road noise from the tires unless you are on perfectly smooth road surface.

Frustrated

My rumble started at ~300 miles. Since then, two ford mechanics have ridden with me on smooth roads. Both were very surprised by the rumble and by how loud it was. The first said it was "just awful". The second said, "what in the world... I've never...".

Yet so far, neither of them have been "authorized" to do anything about it.
