Do you experience vibration and rumbling between 50 and 70 mph?

Just go to the Better Business Bureau website and look for the auto wine and you can fill out the form there

Well I'm ready to file with BBB now. My car has been at the third dealer for over a week and I don't think they've done anything with it. I'm just getting the runaround. So do you file with Ford itself or the dealer? I searched for Ford in Dearborn Michigan and it came up but with no reviews. That can't be right. Please someone who has done this before tell me exactly how you did this and what you got out of it.

FORD Not the dealer. My lawyer said to try to keep the dealer out. The direct result of the issue is FORD MOTOR COMPANY Itself.

Hiya guys, after a long time I would like to tell you how my story was going on. First they about-faced the driveshaft – the Pony runs smooth for about 1.000 km but the Vibrations came back - it did not fix the issue. Then I got a new driveshaft – the same. Then they turned it in 60 degrees steps – the same. Then they put on two hose clamps to balance the driveshaft – for 1.000 km it was okay but finaly today after 2.000 km I can say: it did not fix the issue.
The Vibrations began at the first 500 km. Now 16 month later there are 15.000 km and I still have this Vibrations.
My Model is a MY2016 European GT Fastback and was produced on 09-11-2015.
Can anyone give me Informations about a one-peace-driveshaft and if it can fix this issue? Thank you very much and best regards from Germany:cheers:

Try this experiment. Put 150lbs of weight in the trunk of your car, go out for a drive and if the vibrations subside or are reduced then you know its a pinion angle issue which can be fixed with transmission crossmember shims on the crossmember bolts to improve your pinion angle! If you read this entire thread guys have done this and it fixed vibration issue! No where in this thread did anyone put an aftermarket ds in and it fixed it by itself! Good luck!

I drove a rented 2017, 4 cyl, auto convertible with 3,500 miles on it over the weekend and it vibrated a lot through the floor pan, steer wheel and dash. It's sad that in the third model year the manufacturer has ignored the defect that these cars have and not fixed the problem.

You would think there is enough information and case history to move forward with a class action lawsuit??

Thank you very much Dominant1. A very interesting suggestion that I have never heard before also not in the German Forum Vibration-Thread https://mustang6.de/viewtopic.php?f=13&p=129577&sid=af91b3aa4f3d1e8f57a1479e483c766f#p129577 .

I will try it in the next few days and I will post the result. And thanks also for the information about the aftermarket ds because I don’t have to make the very expensive experience by my own.
Now I have to find a weight of about 150 lbs – i will ask my wife:lol:

Changing the angle would be a good diagnostic step. But I'm not understanding how adding weight in the trunk would change the pinion angle in an IRS with body mounted diff. What am I missing?

Ok so with a fixed location differential how will adding weight help????? With a straight axle weight will push it body down and therefore changing the pinion angle with an irs it will not change the angle.

If the rear of the car squats, the diff raises relative to the rest of the car, and the driveshaft angle changes in a favorable way. But only very slightly. I don't think it will help at all. However, if the chassis was redesigned, theoretically the diff could be rotated about the rear axle so as to reduce the DS angle.
