I did talk to one of the owners today and he is going to pay to have the car detailed. Told him everything that went wrong and only the facts. He was not pleased, and said that he is going to hear a lot of excuses today.
I feel bad for those that aren't car people and believe everything they are told.
Car will be taking a long trip next week so if the vibration returns, I will update. So far this has been the worst car I have ever owned. Tonight the gps had me about a quarter mile off of where I was at.
Do you have aftermarket wheels and/or tires?

Update on my smaller issue than most other people here. I found another dealer to bring my car to, and eureka, the confirm that there is a vibration that does not belong, and they were going to keep the car a few days to determine what the cause is ( I am not too confident, but trying to stay positive) I called the regional CSR to inform them that the new dealer is confirming there is a issue, they will be keeping the car, and to have Ford pay for a rental as long as my car is being worked on due to the fact that I am now at 2300 miles and the car has been in for repairs three times now. Will follow up with the dealer tomorrow and see what they have to say.
I feel bad for everyone else going through much worse, hopefully you can all get some type of relief for all of this BS

Update on my car. Took the car in today to get the seat Tsb done and also get the white paint removed that showed up on the car while at the dealer. I called them early and the service manager told me that the seat blower was working and that it doesn't cool, only blows air. They had the Tsb and told me this, bs. I call them after work to see if they had the paint off the car and they had not started yet. I told them that they were wrong about the seats and to give me the car back now and I'll never come back here again. Now I guess it's time to write some letters. I hate this car now.
You hate the car because the cooled seats don't work as well as you'd like them to?

As far as the cooled seats "blowing air", that is basically true. You are the only one who is "wrong" for assuming it's something drastically different. There is no refrigerant in the seats, the system simply draws air from the floor (cooler air sinks) and then passes it through a Thermoelectric Device (TED) which creates a very slight cooling effect. In ideal conditions, the highest temperature drop that the system can produce is 14 degrees F. In normal conditions, the air coming out of the seats will be similar in temperature to the air inside of the cabin.

The seat backs actually heat up when the coolers are on. I agree with everything else you said.
I have had more problems with this car than any others i've ever owned. Driveline vibration, side mirrors freaking out, navigation 1/4 off and seats not working properly. Most of my issues are with the dealership that have bleed over to the car. They had my car for 8 weeks, got paint on it, didn't do the seat tsb, and talked down to me. I am no longer going to that dealership. All is good.

They replaced original driveshaft and had to balance the second because the vibration was worse. They got 80% of the vibration gone by doing this then asked me to wait a few months as he thought Ford had a supplier problem and hoped time would help Ford figure things out. I waited eight months and ford told the dealer to try another driveshaft and still no luck! Mechanic then got into the differential and found play ranging from .008 to .140" so he replaced some gearing and got the play to a consistent.008" and vibration was still there! That is when he got a new differential in and solved the problem. I was not happy with being without my car for over a month, I thought ford knew about this problem so why were parts not stocked to get us back on the road as soon as possible! Dealer told me to call ford customer service and ask to be compensated so I did and received one months payment for the hassle.
I'm so happy to put this problem behind me. I ordered the 3.55 rear end which is the standard axial in the GT manual and I see those cars seem to be the ones reporting the most of all the drivetrains listed in the vote above.

Actually, the 3.31 gears are standard in the GT with manual transmission, and the 3.55 gears are optional. The 3.73 gears are standard on the GT Performance Package.

Unfortunate that you had to go through all that, but predictable. What they did not do was measure the run out at the pinion flange. Not that that would help anything in and of itself, if Ford is not able to send out matching and compensating parts. I'm in the same boat, I feel for all you guys.

Keep fighting the good fight everyone. Eventually, they will understand this problem and be able to fix it.

Did you use this as a coincidental opportunity to upgrade to the 3.55 diff? I would love to do that, too, but I am afraid my vibration is a) not severe enough to take it in and be without my car (unless it is during winter shutdown), b) the dealer will also prove to me (via analyzer) that my vibration is not severe, and c) a diff swap may make it worse!

As for runout, it would not be hard to check myself. I considered buying the Harbor Freight clamping dial indicator for this.

Update on my car: (GT Premium - Manual with 3.31 gears)

Rear end bearings were replaced a month ago and the vibration is worse. Took it to the dealer this past Wednesday for the seatbelt recall and to have them address the vibration issue again. They have ordered me a new driveshaft and hope it arrives within 2 weeks.

Current update, after three days, the new dealership replaced the driveshaft, checked all of the runout, and the vibration is now about 95% gone!!! I still feel something, but unsure if it is me, or tire noise, but either way, the car is driving so much better than it has been since I brought it home, so I am quite optimistic at this point, and am enjoying the car like I wanted to
Anyone in central Fla having this issue, PM me and I will forward the name of the dealership. (Not sure about rules "promoting" any particular dealership, so playing it safe)

excellent news. Sounds like the dealership was interested in actually fixing it instead of throwing parts at it. Enjoying the car is what it's all about. Congratulations.

No I ordered the 3.55 rear end thinking it would help the v6 accelerate better. Wish they still had the performance package option for the v6. Sorry, I thought the 3.55 was standard on the GT manual.

I'm just happy the vibration is gone.

Just got mine back from the rear end change. Not sure exactly what they did. The vibration is much better, but I can't agree with them that it's gone unfortunately.

weird thing though, now my front alignment seems to be off. It doesn't really seem to pullto one side, though it might be extra sensitive to the crown in the road. Bigger issue is that the steering wheel isn't centered anymore while going straight. They claim they didn't touch the front at all. maybe its a new issue, maybe they forgot to put my hubcentric rings back in for my aftermarket wheels?
is it possible that disconnecting the battery for an extended period with the wheel slightly turned reset what the EPAS considers to be zero? I have a feeling that's a no, I'm just not sure exactly how that system works.
