Do you experience vibration and rumbling between 50 and 70 mph?

Just got back from a ~150 mile cruise and the drone is definitely gone. I'm calling this fixed. Thanks to Deysha and Marie from Ford customer care. Getting the engineer to drive up from Chicago took a fair bit of time and effort, but it was worth it.

Nice to hear, I'm still waiting for parts.

My vibration was horrible through my steering wheel and also in my seat. Felt like i was holding a leaf blower haha. And the vibration ended up being a bearing in the rear differential. Vibrations can travel everywhere making it difficult to find and know exactly what it was coming from.
Mine exactly! Steering wheel, shifter, door panels, seats, E brake, and the rear view mirror buzzed like crazy. The dealership ordered a rear diff.

OK, still evaluating my fix with the driveshaft replacement. Much better but not fixed. Maybe just tires but the frequency does not seem like tires. But this morning I have a rattle from the LR suspension. I heard something rolling away from the dealer Sat morning right after the repair but did not hear it again so I let it go. Drove again over the weekend briefly and did not hear it. But this morning I have a a rattle badly. Over some light throttle and on all bumps. Anyone have this? Going to have a look under tomorrow after work on some ramps. Sounds like something simple is just loose. Help?

been considering selling my car because Ford doesnt have an issued fix out for this.

i have springs sitting in my house that i want to install, but i want this problem solved first, as I dont feel like having a dealer tell me my springs caused the problem - because they havent, because I havent installed them yet.

I keep visualizing that video in this thread of the driveshaft as it wobbles in the rubber-captured bearing. Runout or balance could cause this. The "propeller" sound is exactly what such a phenomenon would have.

I imagine asking service to put the car on a dyno and then watch it at 60mph when I eventually take my car in.

Man I am in the same boat as you except I have a shit load of stuff accumulating to install. Need this fixed first. I can't sell car now, too much money spend on goodies.

That video was mine and was just at idle speed. I probably need a flange as well to totally kill it. I'm happier, but not totally satisfied. I may contact Ford Service soon. Not upset with my dealer at all. They've been great so far, the driveshaft was definitely messed up and they replaced it.

Australian delivered RHD here.

Getting light vibration through the floor pan, accelerator pedal and steering wheel. Problem occured after about 100 - 150KM (60 - 90 miles) post spring install but could be coincidental.

Wheel alignment feels fine (eg. drives in a straight line for ages when steering wheel is free).

Current ODO: 1500 miles / 2400 km

Mods installed thus far (in order):
VMB9 Wheels/MPSS Tires (no change in NVH)
MGW (no change in NVH)
JLT CAI Lund Tune and NGauge (no change in NVH)
Steeda Springs
Steeda Transmission bushing (Installed these together April 19. Seemed fine for a couple days. NVH started developing 3 days ago. Read above)
Steeda Vertical Links (no change better/worse from the NVH above)

This only started post spring installation last week. So could possibly be the struts or bushings were not torqued down properly to spec.

Haven't taken it in for alignment yet, was going to do it after the Steeda Toe-Link installation. Which is either today/tomorrow.

Hoping it's alignment and/or spring install related and not a faulty drive shaft etc.

Yep, sure sounds like it's related to the aftermarket spring installation.

So has no one got a rattle after driveshaft replacement? I got under the car today after backing it up on some ramps and used the soft side of my fist to lightly beat on some solid parts. Nothing. The the driver side gas tank strap. It's definitely there. Sound like on top of the tank. I can't see or feel the part to stabilize it. But they wouldn't remove the tank to replace the shaft would they? There's no sign of it being removed. Exhaust had to come down, but that all seems solid when tapped on. It may be unrelated, but it happened the moment my repair was done. Aw geez I don't want to be "that guy" at the dealership who they think is hearing things and needs medication. I swear I think they believe this sometimes. I'm not upset at all, glad of the progress thus far, just don't know what to do next. Ask for further work? The rattle is one thing, but further work will need an FSE and the vibration tool of they are just shooting in the dark. I don't want to ding the dealership in any way by escalating, but I think we need some outside help.

Does the rattle go away after some time or is it constant?

On the way to work in the morning it's there on bumps, on accel at low speeds and even at idle in drive. In the afternoon, you need bumps to hear it.

I would take it in to the dealerahip, expecially when the rattle wasn't there before the last service.
