Do you experience vibration and rumbling between 50 and 70 mph?

I knew it was too good to be true ... the vibration is back. But as an added bonus, I now have a "clanking" sound when I shift from Park to Reverse - nice big clank - like someone was hitting the transmission/DS with a hammer.

I'm taking it in on Friday. I love the car - but I'm beginning to regret my decision.

Sounds like something came loose or broke. It can't just come back on solid parts. Keep us updated.

V6 - 051A - No vibration at all, Blend date Feb 29th 2016.
Mine is an automatic that did not exhibit any issues until it passed 5k miles. I'm on second dealer, this one is treating me better at least. Car is in the shop over night. Hope to get it back corrected.

Picked up my car today. Front bumper cover replaced. Vibration seems to be 95% gone for the most part. Two tires were balanced. No other work done underneath. We will see if it comes back but for now she seems to be driving a lot better.

Well I just called the dealer I bought the car from 3 weeks ago. They said I would have to drop it off to have the problem checked before they would give me a loaner car...... After explaining that I live an hour away they informed me that this is what has to be done.........

Not happy....

I specifically tested my car for this on the freeway last night before accepting my custom ordered Mustang. No issues  Just wanted to thank the Mustang 6g community for bringing this one to light :clap2:

Thank you Sunnyvale Ford. Picked the car up yesterday after a day and a half and went directly to 237. From 60 to 105 smooth as glass. Finally!!! Nothing but a good tire balance job.

I think you had a wheel or tire issue. That's not related to the drivetrain vibration, but glad you got it fixed.

I ordered my 2015 convertible thru Sunnyvale Ford. They are 1.5 hours away, so have not really considered them for service. Like most Yelp reviews of Ford dealers, they did not get good reviews. But, to me, Yelp reviews are highly suspect and I take with a grain of salt. How would you rate your S'vale Ford service experience? Tks

I have a 2016 GT with 3:55 rear, 19" 255/40 all seasons and manual transmission, from day one when I drove between 60 and 80 the car had the rumble and slight vibration everyone described. Pushing the clutch in or letting the car coast in neutral made it much less, so I was convinced it was not tires. After doing research here I brought it back to the dealer, one tech said it was normal, second one felt the same thing, measured the driveshaft and said it had a lot of runout. They replaced the driveshaft and it is 90% better, still some sound and a slight buzzing sensation of the handbrake handle at 75, a little faster or slower it goes away. I will run it for a while longer before chasing it down further, now pushing the clutch in or coasting does not change the sound. Thanks to all of those who have shared their experiences.

The funny thing is, after watching the documentary "The Faster Horse" they knew it was a problem....... If any of you haven't watched it, the movie is on Netflix. The driveshaft issue that they said they resolved makes me wonder if this is what some of us are experiencing.

At first I did not think that part of the movie was our vibration problem. I want to go back to the film again, but I wish I knew how many minutes in was that scene.
He talked about it several times, the first thing I noticed was when he mentioned the steering wheel and seat vibrations. Then later towards the end of it they were saying that the driveshaft was making them question the release date. At least this is what I took out of it.

With me having built quite a few racecars I know a driveline vibration when I feel it. Heck my racecar has less vibration from the driveline then the new mustang. However, I will be taking it in to the dealer when I get a chance.

Getting tires balance is just one less thing which could be the source of the vibration. The vibration that I felt has 99.9% disappeared; however there may still be an issue, as tech wrote down "tires are slightly out of round".
