LoL, Steeda think we're installing bowling balls? FYI, Steeda's shift knob weighs considerably less than the factory GT knob. I know because I bought one, didn't like the feel. Ordered one from CJ Pony, also too light and didn't keep factory lockout.

Just get the white Bullit shift knob. It’s heavier than stock and any heavier dulls a lot of the mechanical feeling you get from shifting making it easier to money shift. Just my 2 cents

As agmattocks says, Raceseng Slammers are the ones to go for. I have the red one:
https://raceseng.com/products/slamm...-speed-reverse-left-up?variant=39763837190246
It's heavy and not overly hot in the Southeastern US sun. Not quite spherical; it's a little more pear-shaped. I love shoving it around like I'm mad at it. I have several different knobs to choose from, but this one has been in the car the longest. I might give the stock leather the edge for hand-feel, and if it weighed 2 pounds it would probably still be in my car. But it doesn't, so Slammer it is.

I would love to do this to mine as well... but my body color is metallic, so it probably wouldn't turn out as nicely matched.

Or even do the Ford Performance in red, white, and blue sort of like the actual.

Also, afraid I don't have the skills to not screw it up.

I'm looking to upgrade the shift knob on my still new to me 2019 GT Premium PP1. So far I'm liking this Hurst one:

https://www.americanmuscle.com/hurst-6-speed-shift-knob-white-1516.html

The reviews are favorable except I see folks talking about it being bigger than they expected. Seems a little expensive compared to some of the others as well in my opinion but I don't know a lot about these.

For those who have changed out the shift knob, specifically if you use the Hurst one, what are your thoughts? It also appears to be a pretty simple job, for those who have done it do you agree?

Thanks
gt350 shift knob, matches the start button perfectly in my '21

A lot of these look nice but I like the stock one LOL. I wish they offered one that was similar to the old 03-04 cobra shift knobs. I liked those a lot. Not the biggest fan of just a plain ol round ball for shifting. Just doesn't feel natural to me.

Took the car for a test drive, I really like this weighted shift knob. I can tell the difference with the weight, feels more solid, not as noisy, smoother, I'm actually surprised, I had low expectations.

I like that a lot. I just ordered mine this week, same shape but got the Mach 1 engraving. Can't wait for it to get here...
