I had hankook ventus v12 evo2. These were very good in the wet and lasted 28000 miles no problem, i changed them out but they still would have passed state inspection. The sidewall was a little soft for my liking compared to the SC2's. Just put on continental ECS O2's, much better sidewall...
I use a pressure bleeder, it makes things a lot easier because I'm solo when I do it. Brake pad spreader? Never needed one of those. Just take the cap off the master reservoir, rock the caliper a little side to side and it slides right off. not sure what the bleeding order is but back to...
stiffen the chassis first before throwing suspension parts at it. up front install the factory 3 piece strut tower brace on top and bmr or steeda lower subframe brace. If you dont have the strut tower brace already they're plentiful and cheap on ebay. Rear IRS chassis braces also, again bmr...
not true. Full Tilt Boogie makes a bracket that mounts the shifter directly to the trans. $100 bucks. The shifter really isn't that bad it's the mounting to the body and flimsy rubber bracket / bushing that's the problem. you don't have to spend $600 to fix this.
I switched to this, shifting much improved over stock.

I did an xpipe with the active exhaust on my '21. In quiet mode I get no complaints from the wife while cruising around and on long trips. That's my "loud" barometer.....trust me she would complain if it was loud. Once you get past 4K you can hear it. Interestingly enough with the back seats...
the stock shifter is not that bad, the mounting of the shifter sucks. You need to mount the shifter to the trans. I installet the FTB shift mount bracket for $100 bucks and while i was in there i put in a shelby short throw lever I found on ebay for $125. Night and day difference, shifts...
Dont want to hijack the thread but could you give some details on how you installed a separate clutch reservoir? I've been looking to do this on my '21
well I just bought a set of used GT350 rims, the front are 10.5 inch. I think the Mach 1 HP front rims are also 10.5 inch. The rears are 11 inch. Of course you need the proper offset too, just look up the specs of those rims for offset or to create a "square set up" you'll need spacers and...
