Yes go for it.. just do it once and you don't have to do it every time.
Okay, I just have fresh oil, only 50 km on it so far, so I think it’s still okay to pour it in.

So if I understand correctly, you had the tick but after 1 can of Ceratec it went away?
How long it took to go away after you put Ceratec inside?
Is 1 can of Ceratec enough? Some say 2 cans.
No, ive used ceratec all along with amsoil 5w30 and it never developed the tick

Yes, it is. Just do it. By the way, Ceratec doesn’t eliminate the tick. Every Coyote has it. The difference is volume. Some are barely noticeable and some are quite loud. No one has ever determined why. And no one can actually explain the whole oil/oil change issue. So stop obsessing over it and get some Ceratec! 👍

What do you mean Ceratec doesn’t eliminate the tick?
I thought that’s the main point that Ceratec eliminates the tick 😄

The tick will always be there. It is part of the engine. Ceratec quiets the tick to a level that most people no longer hear it. And that’s really what it’s all about.

Ahh okay understood.
Well I hope that it will do this also in my case because I’m affraid that with my luck there will be no difference…
And besides Ceratec I don’t know what else you can do to quiet the tick…

I use synthetic 5W-20 as recommended… do you think a can of Ceratec could also help me?
Is it better to apply 2 cans or try it firstly on 1 can?
After how long or how many miles did you see a difference after applying Ceratec?
A lot of people use 1 can but I use 2 per the recommendation on the bottle. You see the difference right away, depending on your generation of Coyote motor you can use 5w-30 or 5w-20

I have late 2016 GT and using 5W-20 synthetic.
So would you recommend using 2 cans? Is it better in any way other than just 1 can?

I can't exactly say 2 cans is better than 1 but the bottle calls for 1 can of Ceratec per 5 quarts or something along those lines.

Ahh understand.
And should I drain some of the oil out before using Ceratec, if I have fresh oil now?

Not necessary. As far as how much, start with as little as needed. See how it goes and add more if necessary. More doesn’t mean better.

Okay, so starting with 1 can is better I suppose and if needed, try also with second one.

Try a different brand of oil and use 5W-30
