Turbocharged or Supercharged?

What would you most like to see on the next GT500/Cobra?

I'm really hoping to see a twin turbo GT500/Cobra in the near future. With all the interest Ford has shown in turbocharging in recent years, I think its a definite possibility.

What do you guys think?

They should definitely keep focusing on NA power and RPM's while also focus more on turbo engines. I'm getting a little tired of slapping a blower on the top model.

Yes they did....

...but it had a very sad conclusion.

The Ford engineer who initiated and ran with the project tragically took his own life for issues unrelated to the project, then Ford shut it down.

The car only did one run on a track, and never reached it's goals.

I hop they use a supercharger!!
Turbochargers are really good but the exhaust sound is bad. I love the sound from a blower [emoji4]

I must be the only person in the world that doesn't like that blower whine. NA > TC > SC IMO.

I like blower whine but having said that I much prefer high output naturally aspirated motors.

Not only the blower whine is awesome. For example make a summary between the Mercedes e63 with natural aspirated engine and the new 5.5Liter bi-turbo. The exhaust sound on the new 5.5L engine is more than bad it's harrowing (I hop that's the right word for bad^2). Sorry but there is nothing like a V8 it's sounds not good. Ok the performance and fuel economy is better but how cares I want a awesome V8 that sounds like a V8. Problem a turbocharged cars is the charger reduces the exhaust sound deeper sound but not good.
For me I want a supercharged or a naturally aspirated V8.

Definitely would like to see a twin turbo set up on a GT500 replacement. Does anybody have any insight into the cost difference in development/R&D for a twin turbo set up vs a supercharger?

I think the R&D cost for the turbo is much higher then the supercharger
