It will not use the Tremec from the GT350. That is a lightened transmission and not designed for high torque applications. Most likely the 6060 or possibly the 7 speed.

They would be foolish to not offer an auto or DCT. Both its main competitors either offer, or will once it is released (Hellcat and ZL1/Z28 whatever they call it).

Personally I think it is cool. I prefer the Mustang, but have no hate on the Camaro. It will be interesting to see what Ford had planned (if anything, sales will dictate their response IMO). Props to GM, I think the Camaro6 looks pretty good.

Although I generally prefer the Mustang, if Ford doesn't build a GT500 , I could easily see myself in a ZL1. The long 3/4 view is quite attractive.
