It does have a bit of a modern Japanese car look to it, with much sharper angles than the current front end.
It's not an ugly design in my view, but there's just something off about it. It lacks cohesiveness. I think you could argue that the current front end lacks a bit of that as well...
I think I might hunt around for a used 15-17 auto GT in the near future. I think this was a big missed opportunity. The new 10 speed and possible upgrades are legitimately worthwhile, but the car needed a design refresh to match those upgrades, and I just don't think this is it.
Wow does that front end look awkward. Jaguar XJ immediately comes to mind, and I personally think it's the most awkward looking of Jaguar's current lineup.
I just can't get into the hot hatch market. I try to like cars like the Golf R and ST, but in the end, they just don't do anything for me. Saw a Golf R the other day, and the styling is so plain and forgettable. I don't care for the ST because of the FWD; FWD is perfectly fine for my regular...
I'm in the exact same position. I currently drive a Focus after getting rid of my GT, and I'm also looking at something practical with power and some fun factor.
Can't wait to go test one. Always thought the Fusion looked great but just needed some more power.
Miyota is actually Japanese, they are owned by Citizen. It is actually a decent movement. Indie watch firms are forced to use these movements because ETA will not sell its movements to any brand outside the Swatch group
Meh, case size is way too large, and the Myota movement is nothing spectacular.
It's hard to gauge the finishing from pictures, but it doesn't look all that great to be honest.
At that price, unless you have to have it for nostalgia reasons, there are a lot of nicely finished entry level...
I immediately thought Jag XF. Maybe a little Audi as well. I wish they had refreshed the rear end a bit. To me the styling just looks a bit off.
Can't argue with that motor though. Would be nice to have that in a Mustang or Fusion ST
I personally agree with Spartan on the marketing angle. Chevrolet made a smart move by having a lineup that will make more sense to the average consumer. Despite how many of us may feel on how educated the buying public is on these cars and their engine choices, it's pretty obvious that the...
Based on the photos I've seen (including these), I personally think the non-SS models look much better than the SS styling-wise. I prefer the fog lamps and lower grille design on the those models to the honeycomb grille on the SS. I also prefer the more understated standard spoiler.
A V6...
I find the new Camaro's interior to look pretty good, at least from the shots I've seen. But final verdicts can't be made until we see some pictures of a more base interior and actually touch the materials.
But based on the initial photos, I like what I see.
I bought a 2015 Focus since I now have a very long commute each day.
I got an SE with the SE sport package, which adds some tasteful bodywork, spoiler, upgraded 17 inch wheels, and paddle shifters for the dct.
I have the sedan, but you can get the package on the hatch as well. No...
Making a brand new V6 as the mid level option was a very smart play by Chevy. It appeals to those who want a car with decent performance and better MPG than the V8 but don't want a boosted 4 or the stigma of a 4 cylinder pony car. I personally don't have any issue with a turbo 4 myself, but...
That's why it's always good to wait for better pics. Remember how bad the first leaked S550 pics looked?
The car looks pretty solid overall with the rear end being the part that is the least attractive.
I like that interior, aside from the center screen, which looks a bit awkwardly...
To be fair, quite a few people seem to only be considering the appearance when judging this refresh and not taking into consideration the changes below the surface. This car is getting a new chassis and three engine choices, including a brand new DI V6 and entry level turbo 4.
I agree that...
There certainly is no defending the Camaro driver. He was intoxicated and driving without a license. He should be punished.
However, if you're the guy in the pickup, and you see something like that, just let it go and let the guy go on his way. Things are bad enough on the roads without...
Wow, I was thinking it would be around a quarter million. 400K is pretty rarefied air.
I love this car and am glad Ford built it, but at that price, if I had the money, I'd be hard pressed to take one over a Ferrari or Lambo. Hopefully the performance meets expectations.
