These are thicker stainless which will sound better. Both will perform the same. These cost less.
Thanks brotha... I'm gonna go with these. I loved tsp when I had my camaro back in the day.

none of the raspy ticky noise up front that headered cars usually give off. i like that about these.

Do these headers put the O2 sensors at a downward angle?

I think I read somewhere that it's a benefit for flex fuel cars? I'd be interested aswell to know.

Well I've heard from a few builders that it just also helps keeping condensation out of the sensors so they don't fowl up.

Performance wise how do these compare to Stainless Works?
I want to pull the trigger soon on some LTs.

it has an engine!
All 1 7/8" long tubes like these will perform within a couple hp of each other regardless of brand.
Thats not exactly true. Certain designs once blowers are introduced the limitations become apparent.

Header design also impacts the quality of how your exhaust sounds

Let me know when you install them! What catback are you running? I'm close to the bay area might just have to hear it in person before I pull the trigger on those headers :D

I disagree on the performance aspect here as we are comparing all same primary and collector size. Sound is effected mostly by tubing thickness (length and size are all very close here) and in this case the TSP headers are thicker wall than others at 2mm. These and my OBX headers look to be designed like SW/SP headers in fact there is a good chance they are made in the same factory overseas as SP headers. Pipes are same size (1 7/8") roughly the same length (cars chassis dictates this mostly) and look to be plumbed into the collectors the same way. ARH are plumbed differently and don't have welds along the bends but that doesn't seem to make much difference performance wise. Terry dynoed SW vs ARH with virtually identical results.

Like i said, once a blower is involved thats isnt true . Also if you dont think design (routing and lengths of pipes) affects flow at different cfm levels you need to take some fluid dynamic classes. The routing of the piping, not just thinkness affects exhaust note. A perfect example is hypermotives video showing that arh headers cleaned up the sound of Shawns corsa sport catback that was using sw, it got louder and crisper. Header design most definitely changes exhaust tone.

Btw thats an old thread i saw it when he made the thread , the time it takes to change headers DA levels change. Personally as much i think terry is great and respect him those dynos mean nothing.

What also should be taken away from this, im not saying these tsp headers are bad, just that your post isnt 100% accurate. I think they are a decent budget minded header so hopefully no one gets the wrong idea here.

I'd like to see blown header comparisons.
