Hey bud, I am curious if you experienced any issues with the headers pushing the overall exhaust back like JadedGT has seen.

I have Corsa Sports and am looking for a reasonable set of LTs for my set up. Your review in regard to quality gets one thumbs up, the overall fit would earn my second thumbs up.

Thanks for your time

Jesse
The headers did not push anything back. But to make things fit without pushing anything back, we did hammer on the "cats" to push then deeper towards the collectors

Sounds awesome and love how it revs ...Nice rev matching..(video)...

Love the ghost cam.. If I ever go cat less, I will run mine more often.

Installed properly the headers should not push the exhaust back at all. The cat sections are difficult to slide completely over the collectors. I used a grinder on one of the fake cats to get them to slide back onto the collectors completely.

Would you recommend o2 extension cables ( bbk sell the the extensions for 50 bucks) or is better/easier do what you did amd makei it myself, i mean wich one will be safer for the car, not sure if i will get a good reading with the extension cables. Thanks sir

Whatever you do, DO NOT use BBK sensor extensions. Either extend the wiring on the sensor like I did or check with the top header brands to see what they use.

Headers were not the issue it was the mid pipes but it is at a second shop and they are taking a look.

That's what i though lol, i guess extending the cables is my best choice. Can you let me know where did you get the wires ( autozone or something like that) or where can i get them and which material are they? Sorry for all the questions just making sure im doing the right thing. Thanks

I'm a tech at a Benz dealer so I have access to all the wiring repair materials for free. I would find a shop that is experienced with wiring repair before attempting this. I don't know if Autozone would have the best materials for the soldering portion of the job.

Grimace427, for the DIY person, what special tool(s) would you recommend to simplify removal/install of headers? An example might be a shorty 15mm ratcheting wrench, if you know what I mean.
Thanks

Home depot or Lowes has quality enough wiring. Just ensure its the same wire gauge and solder it or use solder butt connectors. Or if you have a Grainger nearby they will have all that. You can also get some heatshrink to tidy things up when done. You can find a decent solder station for cheap or get a heat gun for the solder butt connectors. 3M makes quality solder butt connectors. I am a marine electrician by the way.

Going to give them a call tomorrow. Gonna order the catted headers but will inquire if they will sell just the fake cats section from the non catted headers so I can easily swap between the two when I need to. I know Bassani used to do this with their midpipes.

Stubby ratcheting flex head wrenches, both 13 and 15mm for the header bolts. 22mm O2 wrench or just a good quality 22mm wrench that won't slip. Long extensions and swivel sockets. Really nothing special needed. I watched the CJ Pony Parts install video, it pretty much spells everything out.

Talked to them on the phone. They will include the non-catted pipes with the catted headers order if you order with them over the phone for anyone interested in easily swapping between the two. Went ahead and placed my order.

Also, from reading above. Am I correct in assuming that no one makes a good set of O2 extenders?

Searched to see what American Racing Headers have for extending but couldn't find nothing, however kooks have the o2 extensions for 29 bucks each. Would these be a better , safer option? Lol i don't think my mechanic skills are that advanced to deal with all the welding thing, and at this point i don't want to take it to a shop

You can always just get a spare O2 sensor and take that to a shop to extend the wires. You don't need to take the whole car.

I installed their headers around the 4th of July and couldn't be happier! Great product and great company to deal with. Can't wait to see what else they come out with.

Do you have a video at all? Are your headers cat-less?
