I saw temps hitting 235 consistently here in SE Texas until I changed out the thermostat. It's interesting about removing the weather stripping. My temps don't go past 215 now even if it's 95+.
That is going to be my next mod. Tired of not being able to get in parking lots or go over larger speed bumps. Pretty sad when I only an inch lowered all around from stock height.
I can't hear my fan over my ProCharger at all. It's loud as hell. I changed out my thermostat for a 170% one I don't see my head temps over 200 now even when it's 95 outside. Before it was hitting 220+ daily if I was running the AC.
If I had to buy a blower today I would go with the Paxton setup Beefcake has they have a killer sale right now on them. Although I do love my ProCharger.
Had I do the whole car over again I would go with a TT setup. Might sell the ProCharger at some point and go with a TT system.
They are a small shop they make their own kits. It's not a Paxton, Procharger, Whipple shop. Think they are alone? Read the comments in this YouTube post about another small shop.

He is talking cost of blower and installation cost. Plus if he has MT that is going to be a clutch as well.
6000 F/I Choice
1000 - 1500 install
1000 to 1300 clutch
400 to 500 clutch install
Right there he is already in the 9K range.
Adding forced induction to your car is not cheap. Prices have actually come down from what they used to be. Just because you see kits in the 5500 to 6000 USD range expect to still pay closer to 10,000 USD for the kit. Plus a few supporting modifications to support them. That is just scratching...
People get hung up on the pulley size and boost levels. There are more factors to just the pulley size. Someone with a 4.75 pulley at sea level is going to have a different boost level than someone at 5500 feet above sea level. Also fuel, tune, etc. Some people are at 10 with a 4.75 while I am...
You can order injectors and plugs separately you don't need to get them with the kit reducing the price of the kit. Just going to need to find a local tuner or go with a remote tuner.
Can't go wrong with either kit. Just make sure you get plugs and low temp thermostat. I didn't and had to buy them two weeks later. Also got the big red race valve and it's almost double the price after you buy the kit just an FYI. Wanted the turbo blow off sound.
PC is super easy to install and easy to take back to stock. But Beefcake is running a killer deal on the Paxton kits right now. Would give Terry a call and tell him what goals you have with the car.
