Every year things will be upgraded and improved.

Im sure everyone knew this going in.

Just enjoy what you have and trade up in a couple years.

It happens with damn near anything you/we buy, so why should a Mustang be different?
The only thing we can count on is change regardless of age.

This one will be so much better.

Getting things done by voice commands while riding with that Coyote roar in the background is not that far away now.

I knew that my 2015 was going to be the last model using MS OS. 2016+, even the NAV system will be different with no SD card needed. Everything for the NAV system, software/mapping updates, will be fed through the USB ports. Maybe, the annual cost of map updates ($150-200 new SD chips), will finally be lowered to be competitive with after-market GPS units.

i still think you guys are crazy for waiting just for sync 3...I'm a HUGE tech nerd and actually left not impressed by sync 3. it's pretty ugly and basic, and my phone does everything it does better. sync 2 is good enough for me, it plays bluetooth with control of google play music, is relatively fast, can actually change the background, and the ui looks way better....

and if you're not using Waze for navigation on your phone you're doing it wrong.

Capacitive touch screen and being able to support Android auto in the future is a big difference. I was looking to get a Mustang around August so waiting for the 2016 model isn't a huge delay.

I have the same time frame for purchase, but it's a frustration that only the premium version will have Sync 3. Decisions, decisions...

Ditto, it's not about SYNC 3 itself; it's about Android Auto.

I'm betting that there will be aftermarket Sync3 type replacements for the current Ford MFT systems available in the near future. Just have to be patient and then decide if it's worth the cost to upgrade.

Got a chance to check out Sync 3 on the new 2016 and I have to say wow !! Ford hit it out of the park with this new update. It operates just like your iPhone or iPad (if u have one) It's very responsive fast and amazing !!! The guy at the dealership who has been there for 15 years even said this is a huge difference compared to the old and very dated, slow and unresponsive, lagging MFT. He said this is the best ever car tech update that Ford has come out with in the past few years. The fact that it will offer over the air WiFi updates is also great. No more thumb drives sent to you in the mail for you to update the system....how silly lol

At first I had my doubts but after seeing the demo I was blown away. It rivals that of what Audi uses for nav and in car display tech. Now if only the next Mustang will have the 10" ultra modern "Virtual Cockpit" LCD center gauge cluster that Audi currently uses....wowzers !!

Way to go Ford!!! Sync 3 will be a huge success !!!

Sync 3 is a lot better but I realized I dont interact with the infotainment that much to wait for it specifically. If there were more 2016 changes maybe I wouldve waited
