  1. OEM PP wheels + Conti DWS 275/40/19 [SOLD]

Hey, I'm in Charlotte looking to do a square setup (19x9.5s all around). Would you sell just the rear two? If not, would any other member want in on the front two from here and the front two from my car? I'm assuming it would make a nice setup on a non-GT car where the fronts would be an upgrade.
  2. Almost destroyed a deer in the Mustang

That was either Route 219 or Route 120 in PA, they all start looking the same after a few hours of Western PA driving, haha.
  3. Almost destroyed a deer in the Mustang

Here is the one I bought, works well as that was relatively low lighting and the video came out pretty clear. https://www.amazon.com/Blackvue-DR650GW-2CH-Built-Wi-Fi-Recorder/dp/B00MC56AXM
  4. Almost destroyed a deer in the Mustang

I drove up the backroads (including some dirt seasonal ones) from Charlotte to Coudersport PA for work. Added a good chunk of time, but holy crap it was worth the drive.
  5. Almost destroyed a deer in the Mustang

The PP (including the brakes) was worth every penny there!
  6. Almost destroyed a deer in the Mustang

This was law of averages at work, haha. Already totaled a car in 2005 via deer, and grazed the side of my previous mustang a few years ago.
  7. Almost destroyed a deer in the Mustang

Not sure if it could be a closer call: [ame]
  8. Confirming what is legal for SCCA F-Street Setup

Thanks! I'm driving around town at 37 all around, and get a bit of hop on quicker take offs. I'll test out 35 in the rear tires and see if it helps.
  9. Confirming what is legal for SCCA F-Street Setup

That's the plan at the moment, especially messing around with tire PSI. That will be interesting. I've seen a few posts claiming a massively improved feel, but haven't seen any back up except "the ford engineer I talked to said the were different" or "the part numbers are different."
  10. Confirming what is legal for SCCA F-Street Setup

Thanks for the advice everyone! Time to dig further into each class's rules...
  11. Rust on new car?

I should have been more specific on the material: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weathering_steel
  12. Confirming what is legal for SCCA F-Street Setup

I read that as people cannot cut the factory springs (mostly for lower ride height), which the Steeda are not. If the Steeda springs fits the perch, would it not be legal?
  13. Confirming what is legal for SCCA F-Street Setup

From SCCA Section 13.8: E. If offered by the manufacturer for a particular model and year, the use of shims, special bolts, removal of material to enlarge mounting holes, and similar methods are allowed and the resulting alignment settings are permitted even if outside the normal specification...
  14. Confirming what is legal for SCCA F-Street Setup

That specific set, any spring that changes the ride height, or springs in general? If looking to complete most/all of these modifications, what class should I be looking into? From SCCA: 13.7 ANTI-ROLL (SWAY) BARS A. Substitution, addition, or removal of a single anti-roll bar and...
  15. Confirming what is legal for SCCA F-Street Setup

I did and read every page, but multiple items above weren't mentioned specifically. Thanks for the clarifications. Sure seems like a mustang running in FS has to just live with the wheel hop issues
  16. Confirming what is legal for SCCA F-Street Setup

Below is an initial build plan for my GTPP. I'm hoping to avoid any issues with running in FS, and am wondering at what point I'll have to bump up a class with any of the modifications below. I'm pretty sure these are in the clear: Steeda Ultralite Linear Springs Ford Racing - Shock/Strut...
  17. Rust on new car?

They do this on some of the greenway trail bridges around here. The initial layer of rust prevents oxygen from interacting with the metal, and it mostly stops the corrosion. Edit: ^^^ Same thing he said above
  18. Free front swaybar mod

Not too much of a "free mod" to the PP crowd then. Think I may stick with just doing the rear sway bar (planning on Strano at the moment), unless I can be convinced otherwise.
  19. Show me your stripes!

I was very worried it was going to look too "Halloweeny", instead I got yelled at by the wife for dropping too many F-bombs because I was so happy how it turned out, haha.
  20. Show me your stripes!

Big Worm Stripes (Matte Black and Orange) after the wife and I installed them:
