I've had the Bobs on my 15 GT for a little over 2 years. I've attached a pic showing how I mounted it under the engine bay cross-brace. The close up pic shows the install with the supplied bracket. As seen on the other pic I did have to replace the supplied mounting bracket with a simple...
Just saw an article in Gear Heads that says Mustang production is slowing because Camaro is now outselling Mustang? Is this true? Anyone have the latest and factual pony car sales data?
Only noticeable if you keep the stock exhaust. Any exhaust with a "deeper" sound than stock I doubt if you could tell the difference. I removed mine to clean up and make under the hood look less cluttered. IMO the sound tube has no value on a V8 GT.
Had the same issue when I tried to upload pix of my 15 GT. Solution was to crop the pic because the original exceeded the amount of pixels or whatever you could upload. The pixel size that worked for me was 500X450. Attached is a cropped pic of my 15 GT that I was finally able to upload...
The strut brace, along with the k brace, sells for $199 at CJ Pony Parts. Think you can also get this at Late Model Restoration. My son in law painted the strut brace the same color as my 15 GT, Ruby Red Metallic. Really don't know how much it stiffens the front end but it looks great under the...
No real benefit to performance or drivability, it just looks a hell of a lot better than the stock "grenade". Installed the black Mishimoto tank a year ago and the engine bay looks so much better. Also a relatively easy install. Just follow the videos on CJ Pony Parts or LMR.
Have it on my 15 GT for a year now. It's deep and sounds great. Only have 4300 miles on the Pony but I believe the system has broken in and the sound is slightly tamer. Haven't had an issue with drone. The 4" tips look great.
I've had my RR GT auto for 14 months and have done a few mods that don't affect the warranty. MF comp axle back, strut tower and K brace under the hood, oil separator, and new coolant tank. As a daily driver can anyone really tell the difference between a GT PP and non PP? Thinking about the...
Easy Install and Looks Great
Installed it in about 30 minutes. Had to make sure I had both of the small hoses plugged before I lifted the original "grenade" tank out and emptied it before disconnecting the bottom larger hose. Had the bottom hose clamped closed so when I disconnected it there...
The choice of color is what you like best. For me it was the Ruby Red from the start. Especially with the 50 year package including the painted aluminum wheels. Even Steeda liked it and used it to measure for aftermarket pedals for the GT auto. Good luck with your new Pony and color selection.
I believe the cup holders on the center console is in the same position as the US Pony. Wasn't this a big deal as it kept the cups clear of the shifter? If true will this be an issue in the RHD cars?
Haven't noticed any but then I don't drag or road race my Pony. Only comes out of the garage on the weekends. However I think the RR strut brace looks great under the hood. Next mod is the Mishimoto overflow tank which I should be receiving in the next week.
1. The following give a deeper tone than the stock but not overly aggressive; Magnaflow Competition axle back and Street,, Ford Racing Touring, Borla S, Roush axle back. There are others but these seem to be the more common exhaust mods.
2. Obviously axle backs are cheaper than full cat...
A man among men. How many wives let their husbands use the kitchen as a parts bench during mods? BTW, the MF quads look great and looking forward to the sound clip.
