Hellhorse Sync 3 Upgrade for 2015 Mustang: Anyone Done It?

Greetings everyone, I'm planning to buy the Hellhorse Performance infotainment upgrade to Sync 3 (from the awful My Ford Touch) for my 2015.

Has anyone done the installation themselves? I'm having trouble finding a shop to do it. On-line videos can make anything seem doable, but has anyone actually installed it themselves?

Any comments on how it is for a self-installation would be greatly appreciated (when taking apart interiors, I always worry about breaking plastic pieces).

I did this swap on my 2019 base GT. It's not terribly difficult. The trim is pretty sturdy. You're most likely to run into a clip that gets stuck in the dash when you pull the trim off, but they can be retrieved with a pick or will fall down onto the floor.

I sold my Mustang in June and removed the upgraded Sync kit. if anyone else is interested in doing this upgrade and need the hardware I'm selling my upgrade kit here.
