No one ever seems to mention this, but this stick on my door jamb seems to indicate 36 psi if you do any sort of fast/hard driving.

Low pressure will cause tire to heat up faster. Pretty common practice on trackdays where you measure your tire temperature and add/remove air accordingly.

this isn't present on my GTPP, may have something to do with non stagger, maybe non p-zero summers?

The stang specifically calls out for 32 PSI. To put 41 psi is just stupid.
Again, it's more for storage at 40psi. You can still drive it but it will be pretty rough ride.

The rears should almost always be lower to the fronts, as you want the rear tires to lay flatter on the road for better grip, plus they don't need to cope with the increased sidewall load and wheel angle to direction of movement.

Running high rear tire pressures on a rear-wheel-drive car will lead to increased tire wear down the middle.
That is debatable depending on what kind of handing you want.
BMW is known for having rear higher than the front for a balanced handling.

Should consider yourself lucky the psi match closely on all 4. Sounds like a good dealer to me! Lol

My TPMS were reading a little high last weekend at track pressures around 37-38psi measured by a liquid filled high quality gauge the TPMS would read 39-40. I havent noticed this difference at colder 32 psi pressures.

40-41 is high and will wear the centers out of your rears. Ya that happened to my right rear last weekend. The fronts seem to tolerate that pressure better.

32 psi cold can reach 40/41 hot, but only after sustained periods (10+ minutes) of hard track use. Normally 32 psi cold wont climb that high under hard use for street or autox use.

Tire pressures will not go up to 41psi if the base cold-tire-pressure was correctly set to 32psi. Normal increase during driving averages +2-3psi depending on several factors, and then roughly +1psi for every +10F ambient temperature increase.

Without the OP knowing exactly what the tire pressure was before visiting the dealership, or what the ambient/outside temperature was when the tires were set to some specific pressure, it's hard to figure out the variables.

It is entirely possible that the tires were set to 32psi when the outside temp was 20F, and the pressures shown in the screenshot were after period of highway driving with an outside temperature of 80F, which means the pressure would have gone up by 6psi simply from temperature alone, and then another 2-3 psi after driving, accounting for a tire pressure of 41psi, or +9psi over what the cold tire pressures should be.

Don't know about you guys, but I adjust my pressure anytime there is a significant temp change, and anytime I start to see a drop in pressure, which usually drop 1psi per month.
Oh I thought it was 35psi. I just assumed and have yet to look.

Take the 32 psi from the right sticker and add 4 psi indicated on the left sticker if you drive over 100mph.

Probably didn't check pressure during PDI. Mine came at 38PSI as well. Remember the pressure sensor reads about 2 psi higher.
That explains why my air compressor says one thing and the car says another... even had the dealer look at it, haha.

Keep in mind, door stickers are COLD tire pressure. In my car, 32 PSI goes up to 38 PSI when the tires are warmed up. Starting at 40 PSI cold is a recipe for issues.

And also, if you go to any Discount Tire and pull up to the tire inflation machine, someone will come out and set your tires with a proper gauge to whatever you ask for (in this case, warm tire pressure since you've been driving, which I'd do personally at 38 PSI).

FYI this was a half mile from my house on a 32 degree morning, tires not warmed up. So yeah a good 8 pounds too high. The car was darting left and right on the highway....that's what made me take a look....
