The drone is strong with this one, for sure. I got mine to a manageable level by dynamatting the trunk floor, spare tire well, and fender wells. Then covered that with a Home Depot 1/2" denim insulation with the silver backing. It took the edge off of drone. It is definitely still there, but...
A loose connection would make it hot. Current going through smaller contact surface = more heat. [Whoops, re-read post and you were referring to mounting bolt, not bolt holding an electrical connection]
It is odd that you are not getting a light when it should be engaging. I'd start by checking fuses/relays. Have you seen any change in normal braking effort or distance along with this change in behavior?
I'm fortunate to live in NC where premium = 93, NOT 91 octane. I'm close enough to the SC border to enjoy their lower gas taxes which can save $0.20/gal.
Now I know how moonshiners feel hauling over the state line. I have (4) x 5 gallon cans I usually drag along. I fill up the "other" car...

I've been a long time user of Zaino. There are other great products out there, some better, but I keep coming back to Zaino. The ease of application keeps me coming back. Cost is not any worse than any other products as a little goes a long way. I have have a 4 year old bottle of "Grand...
Installed the spring yesterday and I am pleased with the improvement. Clutch is heavier when disengaging, but the smoothness when engaging is well worth the trade.
Tip - enlist a helper to push and hold the clutch pedal while you use both hands to exchange the spring assembly. Once I...
For those of you with the Shaker system - Justin Timberlake's "What goes around...comes around" is a great song to showcase the 8" sub.

I've had withdrawals for the JL Audio 12" and Boston Acoustics 6.5s I had in my old truck. This is one song that helps me forget.
I also love Stevie...
:rant:Remember when your mom used to say "Don't take that tone with me!"? I think it means things are about to get real...
In track mode, things get 'real' really fast.
