Hey guys, I have a 2017 mustang GT Premium and when warm, it makes a strange squealing noise. Any ideas as to what a fix for this problem may be? Anyone else experience a similar issue?

Sounds like belt slipping
Does it get louder under acceleration

Can’t hear it while driving. For some reason it’s only noticeable when idling or when at a stoplight, and it only happens when the car is fully warm.

Hard to determine from a video…

It could be belt tensioner pulley, failing water pump, failing alternator, etc, etc…

The one known “chirp” noise on the Coyote 5.0 would be related to the primary timing chain tensioner oil pressure relief valve. See the below thread and also note just because the info within is for 2018-2019, does not mean it can’t be an issue with prior years.

Like above, I go with idler pulley.
You can if you are careful use a piece of rubber hose one end on /near the part and the other to your ear, to pin point it.
just keep the hose away from the belt and spinning pulleys.
I have learned to replace the idler pulley when I replace the serp belt, as they tend to start to make noise and then fail not long after the new belt install.
Anyways the hose to ear will clearly tell you if it is the idler pulley bearing, the alt. or the water pump.
Just again if you do this, keep your body parts and the hose away from the moving belt and spinning pulleys, the idler bearing the hose on/at the bolt holding pulley will tell you.
The alt and water pump, just being hear them will allow the sound to get louder and you'll be able to tell.

I vote water pump. Usually belt/pulley squeaks are more pronounced when cold.

Ill attempt to do the hose trick today in order to diagnose it, or at least pinpoint the noise. Will update tonight!

Op you happen to find the problem? Have the same with mine. Quiet when the engine is cold but once the engine warms up and the rpms drop you can hear the chirpping. Already replaced the primary chain tensioners and still nothing. Can anyone help?

Sounds like an idler pulley bearing going bad.
Not familiar with your serpentine setup. But they all eventually start to squeak like that.
Have had so many squeak over the years that I actually keep several on the shelf.
Might as well replace the belt while it’s off. Good insurance.
