I have designed it to use 3m adhesive backed tape on the front surface and then be clamped on the back with custom brackets I am making. I wanted to stay away from epoxy.

For a part of this size, shapeways I think was very reasonable. I do plan on selling this bezel after I do my install. Will probably be around $70-$80.

Any way the various pieces of the 8" upgrade get put into a complete "Screen Upgrade Package", or will the screen sourcing be an additional step for future customers?

Not quite sure yet... We still don't know exactly what will be needed. So the plan is to get a functional install complete and then go from there.

Sounds good, I'll have to follow the thread closely (like I'm not already ) so I know when to hunt down a screen on ebay, if needed.

The plan has slightly changed...! With any luck I plan to get a simi perminent install done this weekend. That means everything will be wired and the screen will be mounted with a temporary setup until my bezel gets here.

Is there anything else needed besides a screen, a reprogram, and moving around a couple of pins? What does adding nav involve?
