Unless I am a total noob on this forum, I am surprised nobody really compares the 2 as much as they should. Maybe it's inevitable to choose parts from just one company vs the other.

Anyways, I am getting kook's LTH installed and I know that the motor mounts have to be removed for accessing everything, so I wanna just go ahead and install some new motor mounts to lower the engine for future mods AKA Cobra Jet intake manifold. Can someone please explain which one is better for clearance and/or NVH? I am leaning towards Steeda since I am going with their suspension in the future as well. As soon as this 'rona is over, I am working my a$$ off for mods:fingerscrossed:

I can't say what's better from a functionality standpoint, but I can say that Steeda stands behind their parts and gives great support. I've heard some worrying things about BMR recently.

Will be installing longtubes soon. I have an existing lind tune from my bolt ons.

Will I need lund to retune and relog the car again. Or do I just tell them what I added and they send an update ?

We personally sell a good amount of BMR and have not heard anything worth worrying about. Unfortunately, I do not have anything to speak on as far as Steeda.

Running all Steeda on my 17 GT. No complaints at all, and 32 years worth of mustang experience says a lot. They stand behind their products and they are tested and trialed on real life situations.

Sticking with one brand is a good idea to minimize problems with different upgrades.

I lean Steeda as they offer a wider range of parts, and understand that rules sometimes drive part selection limitations.

Pretty sure your chances of finding someone who has run both the Steeda and BMR motor mounts in a S550 for a direct comparison are slim to none.

It's hard to go wrong with either. But Steeda customer service is always reachable and VERY responsive. On a completely subjective basis, I think BMR expends more effort in engineering on some parts or at least is a bit more creative in their solutions than Steeda. But that doesn't mean their solution is actually better. On my 2 S550 I had the same set of upgrades on both cars - except one was a BMR car and the other Steeda. The beefyness of the K-brace and IRS braces are dramatically different between the two. I can't say if beefier is better, however. Heavier for sure!

As far as IRS and differential bushings are concerned I rejected both in favor of Whiteline.

I have several Steeda suspension items. Never had any issues. They have been around making Mustang parts for a long time.

got eibach lowering springs and sway bars, they are red. BMR has red suspension parts, so that originally made my final decision vs steeda. Im sure steeda is great too, but i love my BMR stuff, and @LethalPerformance has some great packages for BMR stuff like their "bread and butter" package.

they are both known, reputable companies. just pick your favorite flavor and youll be happy either way im sure.

That's how it appears to me as well.

My small sample - had front sway bar links from BMR that got rust all over them, including stud threads - asked to comment - "they've likely been exposed to elements". No shit, would never guess.

Most part honestly are hardly different. Sway bar is literally a bar, as long as it stays as one piece, it works. Not going to mention everyone's favorite mod, jacking rails...
