Steeda vs. BMR K member

Interested in making this upgrade and have no skin in the game in terms of brand.

Anyone have any ideas why the pricepoints are vastly different?

why was there no traction on this post? This really is a good question. I am about to make this move myself and am caught up in what to do. with codes, i can get the BMR shipped to my door for 670$. The steeda is now nearly 2k with 500$ in shipping. Even if i want to do som ebeefing up to the BMR k member, it wont cost anywhere near 2500$.... i think i am going to order BMR

I have the BMR. I think it's less expensive as the street version is 3 pieces. The main member and the L/R extensions bolt on for street duty. My indy didn't feel it was THAT much lighter than stock. Just gives more room for headers, etc. I DON'T have headers. NY emissions is why. Was hoping is was lighter as I had the Procharger added and why I wanted it to offset that added weight.

I will have our Tech Team jump in here ... but the question isn't an apples-to-apples comparison of products. It's like comparing a Timex to a Rolex ... do they both tell time, yes - but is one more refined & offers more crafstmanship than the other, yes.

Really cant go wrong with either one of them it just depends what your end goal is as they do have some differences between two. Happy to go over your goals with the car and dial in which option would be right for you.

I run the BMR street/strip version with OEM motor mounts. Fit and finish is good and I’ve had zero issues.

I'm running the Steeda and couldn't be more pleased over the OEM K Member. The car handles completely different.
