Wanting to get anyone's opinion on the Steeda MagneRide Handling Pack (lowering springs, sway bars, and calibrator: Ford Performance M-9602-M Mustang Magneride Handling Pack (18-23) )

How did it affect the feel of the car? Did you like the results and would recommend? Did you go with the full kit or just the springs/sway bars? Would you just go with the spring unless you are tracking the car regularly? Etc.

Any and all information is welcome, just trying to get a feel if this is something I'd want to spend my money on in the future.

I have the Magneride PP2 with the Steeda Sport lowering springs, which were slightly softer than the factory. I shied away from the "track" version which they call "Ultimate handling". I didn't want "too Harsh", I've been there before with other cars and have no need to go back. I do track my car 2 to 3 weekends per year and track performance is important to me but not in the "fraction of a second" lap time range.
I'd say if you LOVE the Lowered look and its a "must have" for you, the Steeda sport springs do not sacrifice any ride comfort.
I didn't change any sway bars as I have the PP2 bars and track performance with this set up is acceptable (to me).

IMHO, the sport lower springs is just a "look", performance stay comparable with stock (Steeda claims otherwise). If you want a track performance upgrade, Yes, go with the "Ultimate handling" and sway bars.

^ what he said.

What are your goals by changing springs? What are you going to use the car for?

There is a 24 page thread about this kit:

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...d-performance-magneride-handling-pack.116464/

I have a PP2, so I didn’t need the programming, just bought the springs and sway bars. Lowered my car about 1/2”, which I felt was perfect. Very happy with both, car feels more planted, less brake dive, corners flatter, I feel it rides better now, not harsh at all. My car has never been on a track, only driven on the street. Have no complaints, would install both again in a heartbeat. Personally, since you have a PP1, I would get the kit so you get the programming, feel it is all designed to work together.

My goal was to reduce body roll / improve track performance without sacrificing street comfort. I know that leaves a very small window for improvement. I didn't want to move too far from factory with all the engineering, mechanical and programing, that went into the Magneride PP2 system. As my MOD description in my signature box indicates, I also added the Steeda front control arms with extend height ball joint and bump stop kit. If you do not address the lowered roll center when adding lowering springs, your handling will be degraded, not improved.

It seems the Steeda Magneride Spring offerings are slightly different than when mine were purchased. I don't think the "Minimum drop" was an offering. With a .5" drop, you may not need to adjust for roll center, I'm not certain of that, but I'm sure Steeda and tell you.

This package has nothing to do with Steeda - they just re-sell it.

I've had it - it's a good, complete package - but it all depends on what your goal is.
Normal mode with this package is in my opinion still very tolerable for daily driving (but my tolerance level is very high as I am right now on much stiffer springs than this kit has) and is substantially better than stock in Track mode.

Arguably car also look better being lower.

But is that something everyone needs ? 99% does not but if you like sportier suspension, it makes the car way more enjoyable.

I have this kit for my 19 Bullitt with Magneride. I installed the tune first and there was an apparent but not dramatic difference in damping through the modes. Not harsh feeling to me. Later I installed the sway bars. The bars made a pretty dramatic difference in lean control and the car feels much more planted, especially in the front. More oversteer seems available now when wanted. I have not installed the springs yet, as I am not sure I will be able to get in and out of my driveway. I have to go in and out on a 45, as it is, to avoid scraping the nose, due to slope at the street. I have been getting the itch to try the springs lately though, maybe with a very small poly spacer to avoid some drop in height.
