  1. Mach 1 HP wheels and Tires, vs. non HP

I believe I first heard they were stopped being produced 5 or 6 years now on this site, yet the 305/35 PSS's are still listed on Michelin's website, so that tells me they are still producing them. I tried to order a set back in September of 2020 for my PP2 from Discount Tire and there was no...
  2. Is the engine cover needed?

Yeah, no. I probably won't even be around in 30 years. Next time I am in my shed, it is gone. Doug
  3. Is the engine cover needed?

Not needed at all, just there for looks, if you want to say it looks better, I think it looks better off. Took mine off within the first 100 miles of ownership. I just remembered it has been sitting out in my shed now for 3 1/2 years, think will dig it out this weekend and throw it away, I...
  4. What tires to get for the SVE MHP1 Wheels?

I ran 295/35r19’s all around on my ford performance PP2 wheels for the first two years I owned the car. Below are a few pics. Doug
  5. Air filters

I have a 2020 GT with the Ford performance calibration, so same filter. I just replaced mine at about 6,500 miles and it looked worse than yours. I just used the same Motorcraft filter, think I paid about $35 from Rockauto.com. Figure oem will filter just fine and not going to gain anything from...
  6. 2019 GT Auto Rev Match not working after gutting cars

You obviously had to be told since you don't seem to be able to figure it out. The shop did the work, they would be your best option to fix it. If you paid for the cars to be gutted and rev match to still work, you didn't get what you paid for. Hell, did you call and even ask them? Might be...
  7. Bill Tumas and CJ Pony Parts have Parted Ways

Same here. I order from them fairly often because their west coast warehouse is in my town, so in stock stuff in that warehouse means I get stuff the next day. Can't recall ever having an issue with them in the last 6 years or so of ordering from them. Doug
  8. 2019 GT Auto Rev Match not working after gutting cars

So it sounds like you took both cars to a shop to gut them, correct? If so, was there any discussion regarding rev matching no longer being able to work? Is so, then I would say you are probably out of luck. If not, then take the car back to the shop that did the work and have them fix it. Doug
  9. Bill Tumas and CJ Pony Parts have Parted Ways

He has always been my go to for install videos. Anytime I buy a part that I might need install help with I always checked CJ’s to see if they had a video. Back when I was looking for an exhaust for my 2017 GT I must have watched every exhaust video he made multiple times because he always had a...
  10. Does installing Steeda H pipe affect smog test?

I live in Vegas also and have had a cat back on every vehicle I have owned in the last 30 years and have never had an issue. The H pipe in our S550’s don’t have the cats in them, those are closer to the engine, so you are replacing exhaust parts downstream of the cats, no issue and perfectly...
  11. Anyone else running Audio Control's Epicenter?

I had one about 25 years ago in a Toyota pickup with a single 8” sub and another about 20 years ago in a 93 Mustang GT with a single 12. Made a noticeable difference in the mustang but a huge difference in the Toyota. I thought they were well worth the money. Doug
  12. Fuel Question

Did you bolt a supercharger on there also when you went from 87 to 93? 1.1 second decrease in 0 to 60 is a lot, like 200 more horsepower a lot. Doug
  13. Fuel Question

First 1,000 miles or so that I had my 2020 GT I ran 87. I then ran another 1,000 or so miles with 91 in the tank to get ready to install the Ford Performance kit. I noticed no difference between 87 and 91, zip, zilch, nada, car ran exactly the same. (definitely felt a difference after installing...
  14. HP tire size speedo adjustment with forscan

This is the correct answer. No two cars or tires are the same, what works for one combo may be off for something else. Try different values and test until your speedo is correct. Doug
  15. Ford Performance released its PP2 replica wheels

You are correct, the SVE 19x11 with a 25 mm spacer would be an effective offset of 25 mm compared to 24 mm of the oem wheel, so 1 mm narrower. Of course, a 305 tire on a 10.5" wheel may be little narrower then a 305 on a 11" wheel, but I would still say the outside of the tire would still be...
  16. How to remove oil fill tube from valve cover?

Twists off exaclty like the cap. Once the tube is off, you can put the cap back on. Took mine off three years go, but if I remember correctly, it did take a little effort to get it off the first time. Doug
  17. Poll: Where do you get your oil changed?

Change mine myself in my garage. Have a set of race ramps. Since my first vehicle when I was 16, I have always changed my own oil, have never had anyone else do it for me. Plan on changing it myself until I am no longer able to. Doug
  18. Steeda Parking Camera?

I am interested in this also. Yes, $400, but I have spent a lot more on less, plus cheaper than a new chin spoiler. The instructions are pretty lousy, could for sure use some work. Maybe someone needs to do an install video, and maybe offer a little discount to boot. Hint, hint Steeda! lol I do...
  19. Need help, fuel concerns 2020 GT

I have done the same thing for the last 6 years between my 2017 mustang and my current 2020. Have also done it for the last 5 years on my 2018 F-150 and the last two years on my wife's Nissan Rogue. (All of them have the same cap less fill system.) Have never had an issue with any of them. Now...
  20. Handling package tires,

Tires look new to me, not much tread on the outside of those Cup 2's. When I brought my PP2 home and my wife came out to look at it, first sentence out of her mouth was how does a brand new car already need new tires? lol Doug
