So to install these I'm going to remove two factory bolts on each side and replace with steeda ones to bolt these up? I'm at work can't wait to go home and unbox steeda goodies :ford::headbang::cheers:

I like to disassemble things.
Epiphany, Do you have to drive the GT350 up on the wood before lifting with your Bendpak?
Nope. If I lowered the car an inch or so I'd probably be giving you a different answer though.

In short, yes:

Remove the four factory 15mm bolts from the front of the chassis (2 on each side).

Note: It is common for factory cars to have less than four bolts.

Line up the mounting holes with the threaded chassis
holes and using the supplied hardware firmly bolt the
parts in place, 2 bolts in the front and 2 in the rear. A
total of 4 per side.

TJ

Just got my Steeda jacking rails today, will be installing them in the next few days.

Rails had a few scratches here and there, but i repainted them with flat black enamel paint. Should hold up just fine.

Install was a breeze, fitment was tits! Length and weight is acceptable. I like that they are lighter than competition. I was also able to install them without lifting car up and I am lowered on steeda sport linears.

Before anyone joins this site, a preclusion should be to buy these rails. Seriously, life has never been easier when working on my car. I even use them when detailing to get the car up to a better height so that my back doesn't hurt.

Tits are superlative so, anything that's tits is therefore superlative as well.

What are the purpose of the bolts that are used to mount the rails ?

I mean why do they exist on the stock car to begin with ?

Got my rails this week , going to install them when I can get my car out to my friends lift. I'll take pics

Installed mine laying on the ground with no issues. Not optimal but not horrible.

The two bolts on the front have something to do with the manufacturing processes.

The one that was in the rear next to the empty threaded hole are used on a convertible for a brace.

All of the bolts that are on the vehicle need to be removed as we provide the necessary hardware.

TJ

Where I'm from, "fitment was tits" would be singular- "fitment was tit"

Lol I was just excited at the time cause got a bunch of mods done. Seem to be the right word at the time. Makes sense dosnt it? We all like tits, and we all like aftermarket parts that fit. Lol

Perfect, just making sure I don't unintentionally screw up something weird if a bolt falls out or something .
