You must be going to SoFlo for vacation then to be going from Houston to the Pompano store. I will be going to the Valdosta location on 10/26 for installation of c/o's, adj, sways and endlinks; I will also inquire about intake and tune. Looking forward to seeing the manufacturing and fabrication side of the things. Steeda Pompano I've never had a chance to go to even though I'm in SoFlo every Christmas...maybe this year. Back to your regularly scheduled thread.

What is the insert for in the picture for this lid? I would figure if it was tune-required there wouldnt be a MAF sleeve to insert. Is this something else?

Ok so 20rwhp for tune and intake. Sounds about right, in line with Ford Power Pack gains.

There must be som additional gains with this intake (hopefully).
I can get safe 20rwhp only with tune & stock intake at this tune company from where I am (at least that's what they say that they can achieve).

Yeah, but which tune? Does Steeda use their own tune? The ad on Steeda's website just says tune required.

And I'm sure many dollars will be spent in the pursuit of happiness.

Any CAI with a with a larger diameter tube at the MAF has to be run with a tune. That is, unless you could come up with a MAF that is built to compensate.
Nice OEM ish looking setup for a closed box.
