Steeda closed CAI?

So 25 Hp over stock, but it says "TUNE REQUIRED". Is the HP gains after the gains from the tune or because of the tune? If I use this CAI and a different tune, will I see better or worse gains?

Margins for vendors selling intake/exhaust parts is very lucrative. Most of the gains if not all will come from the tuning. Of course many people love an excuse to blow money on car parts. .

Yeah, but which tune? Does Steeda use their own tune? The ad on Steeda's website just says tune required.

And I'm sure many dollars will be spent in the pursuit of happiness.

Steeda does not have tuning for 18 yet. That should be coming with their (over $) intake. Search around as there are better tuners imo...

Run a car at the drag strip with a tune and the stock intake. On the same day, install the upgraded Intake with accompanying tune and run the car again.

That actually would be a nice real world test. Exactly what I'm looking at currently myself.
