Looks good. How chilly is it with the top down? Once it drops below 60 degrees for a morning temp, it's a bit nippy to drive the Gladiator with the top and doors off at 80 mph on the highway.
It's good to be back here. I've been gone a while with the new job, and the new Gladiator!
What's the deal with the national back order on the intake manifolds? Ford can't make enough replacement parts for a crappy design or are they all just sitting off the coast waiting to be delivered?
Oh...
I have MBRP street, and it's not loud. Rolling along in the subdivision, not a problem. Stand on it, and it's a great sound. Deep rumble. I wish it had a tad more of the high end rasp though. But I love it.
Then again, I wear hearing aides now, so who knows!!
Mine is more like a 5lb mosquito that just won't die. Hearing aids eliminate almost all of it. When they're in. Early Saturday mornings, when I'm the only one awake, good morning mr. mosquito. :punch:
She can barely help with this top. She's got some permanent damage from a bad car accident amd a fall over a laundry basket that makes physical work tough for her. But we got it done.
I just need to get a good spot a winch in the garage and be done with it. Probably won't happen until late fall...
I one handed through the rear window to the back of the bed. That was pretty tough. The wife and I then got the top to the garage. Looks like I'll have enough room to build hangers for the doors on the Mustang side of my garage party wall. Still need to figure out the top.
That Punk'n is sweet. I looked for a Nacho, no luck. And the one year color changes make it tough.
Nice rides though. I'll have to get a side by side pic.
We just picked it up. It's only 85lbs or so. Putting it back on by myself was a little tricky, but not too bad.
Sun bonnet is going on today. Pics to follow. Might even get the doors off!
I used to live in Elgin when I was back in firat grade, so 45 years ago. Haven't been back to Elgin in quite some time. But, we have been back to Chicago. Love me some Heaven on 7 gumbo!
For $27k, loaded, not too bad. But, if you can swing it, check out the Gladiator. Hell of a truck amd it's a blast to drive with the tops off. The only downside, it's way too modable! Wheels/tires, sreps, lights, tops, doors. It's endless :piggybank: fun!!
We had the full top off the other night. What a blast!! Can't wait to get the doors off as well. Hoping we can get out to the off road park in the next couple if weeks as well.
