Maybe not traffic but certainly in the staging lanes.
Lol i am glad that i have the Borla Touring with the resonatorI agree, the exhaust does seem louder. I am starting to second guess the H pipe I have on order.
I guess it does..........Then I guess it's a good thing I never sit in staging lanes. Guess that makes me the only person who isn't a race car driver here....
Id see what david thinks. Maybe shave down around entire lip of the lip of the box a hair.so gotta question for all steeda intake owners.
I believe the box is pushing on my hood. I know it's supposed to seal against the hood but I think it's pushing the front driver side part of the hood up. It's barely higher than the passenger side but the front driver side is definitely higher causing the passenger side to be lower. Near the windshield it's lower on the driver side than the front of the hood on driver side.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the steeda box lower. I mean it's gotta go down just a tad so it's not pushing. I can't figure it out. Everything appears to be correct but the box is just slightly higher causing it to push on the hood. any ideas? hood closes with ease though like normal...but i know it's pushing because the box now has a slight bend in towards the direction of the filter above the maf and I can see a decent imprint on the hood's heat shield.
The first time I tried to close the hood after installation it was pretty tight, I actually thought I was going to have a big issue but I was careful the next few times when closing it and it's gotten much better. I think the seal and hood liner will begin to compress some making it easier the more you close it.so gotta question for all steeda intake owners.
