ZL1 1LE is the king when it comes to road coarse racing. In my opinion the bottom comparison is only valid for road coarse racing.
ZL1 1LE > GT500 CFTP>GT500>=ZL1>= C8 Z51> GT350R >C8>GT350>= SS 1LE
Now it’s up to Ford to price this right and the dealers follow suit.They should target a price range comparable to a Camaro ss 1le (1ss,2ss). If they price this above that, then this car better be putting lap times faster than the Camaro. I m hoping for a 44 grand starting price for the Mach1.

Ohh no you got that wrong, not below 3500 rpm, lets say 6500 rpm! Compare a full bolton stock intake mani with a gt350 intake mani, didn't you guys see the dyno results? This was done way back in the day.
I have one but different day different temps, however one is with E85 vs 93 Octane. The Mishimoto Tube and K&N filter put down 404 whp and 375 lbft with 93 octane, Airaid intake with E85 the car put down 395 whp and 365 lbft on the same dyno. I may not be taking advantage of the E85 due to 93...
I m guessing the stock airbox and k&n drop in filter will also improve the low end torque on the manifold a little. I have an airaid cai and mishimoto iduction hose with k&n filter. The low end torque loss is significant with the cai setup but stock airbox with Mishimoto induction hose pulls...
Don't trust the A/F on the car computer use the short term fuel readings from the logs. As far as lamba, at idle i believe it should be 1.00 with 93 octane. 0.83 0.84 with WOT. What type of fuel are you running? More the alcohol level less the lambda at idle.
Anything does not sacrifice low end torque for high rpm power. Improved low end torque with flat torque curve and higher upper rpm power would be lovely.
They fixed the issues same way Ford fixed the limp mode and overheating problems on the gt350's. Some of first year production cars all have issues, some electrical, some body work, and some mechanical. Thats what TSB's are for. To answer your question, any car is dangerous in the hands of...
They already teased the 455 number and we all know that is not the torque output. The question is, will the car have a significant low end torque increase and weight loss maybe 50 60 lbs or so. If the new engine and magnaride adds more weight, i would care less even the car came out with 455 hp...
Hi guys,
I would like to share my comparison for the two systems i listed in the topic. First of all the car is Lund Flex Fuel tuned and running on 93 octane. I ve used the mishimoto setup and switched to airaid no tune intake about 4 months ago. I ve used both oiled and dry versions of the...
Guys lets just take in all the facts here. GM made a 70 grand car which is even faster than their current corvette line up except the zO6 with the zo7 package. Now the question is can Ford with the gt500 come close to that price range and performance? We are talking about 5g's above a gt350r...
Actually the flow rate is the same unless it is altered by the tuner to commend higher air fuel ratio. However, according to reputable tuners best performance is achieved for a specific lambda on specific fuels, for example 0.83-0.84 on 93 octane on wot. What the tube diameter does is change the...
I have the same setup with 3.73's. Its not you, especially with the summer heat don't expect too much on second gear wot around 2000 rpm. Depends on the tires too. My old pzeros would get loose around 4500 rpm on second gear but evo 2's stick like a glue especially in this weather(90's). During...
