I feel you. That sounds miserable. I have a 2015 mustang and had ford install the TSB fix which didn’t do anything since the heat from the unit was still there. I’m guessing your kit works along with the update? If it works sign me up for one!!

Can’t wait to see this in action. What type of filament are you using? My concern is the heat exposure. Not sure if PLA will hold up to the heat. Maybe ABS or PETG would be better. Looking forward to the results.

I had sync 2 my ford touch on my 2015 GT Premium. I swapped it out to the new sync 3 system and all my drive modes worked. A few months after that I install the power pack 2 and everything is still working perfectly. You won’t be disappointed with the PP2.

Yup. The system is working great. Can’t wait for apple to let 3rd party navigation apps work with CarPlay.

What is the average length of time from when the leaked versions appear to when the office Ford release versions are available? Like several months or a few weeks?

Yes, I tried installing Version G which is for 2016 non nav. Someone else on the forums mentioned it could be a low quality thumb drive issue. So I just bought a 64 gb Samsung thumb drive. I'm going to see what happens on my ride home from work tonight.

:mad: I did a swap from sync 2 to sync 3. So my owner.ford.com thinks I still have sync 2. I'm kind of at a lose now.

Keep me posted on what happens. Also where did you download the update version 2.3 non nav? I noticed only the nav version is posted here. I was just reading on the 150forums that version 2.3 is not installing on all non nav units because of memory issues. But hopefully your able to figure it...

I tried installing version 2.3 with no luck mem_erro3. Now I lost gracenotes and it still says version 2.2. My idea was to install the everything but *-BB.tar.gz like you did. Then after that completed install just *-BB.tar.gz. Have you tried doing that?
