So yes I did something stupid 🤬. I had my air box out fixing the leaking oil pressure sensor, got that all done put everything back together but forgot to plug in the map sensor. I started the car and of course every yellow light it has was on, it ran for maybe 20 second. I realized what I did shut it off and plugged the sensor back up. All the lights went off except the check engine. Is there a way to clear the codes without out a tuner or some kind of obd device? I hope this is just a triped code form not plugging up the sensor and not something more serious.

Highly unlikely you hurt anything, the system will actually run fairly well with an errant sensor or two. The check engine light remaining is probably just telling you that there is a stored event of a sensor out of range. Unfortunately, they don't reset on their own and do need to be reset with an OBDII device but those are very common these days. I'd make sure the code is what you expect then just clear it and be on the lookout for it to return just in case.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal for 20 minutes or so. That may help clear out the code.

No MAP. MAF. If it doesn't detect it again within a few drive cycles it'll turn off on its own.

Got ya. I’m new the the S550, had a fox body back in the day. Guess I need to just go ahead and tune it and get a obdii device to handle this stuff with. Thought one of you guys might know a manual work around to clear it.

Got the battery disconnected now, gonna just let it sit overnight and see what it does in the morning.

Leaving the battery disconnected didn’t work. Borrowed a obd reader and had two codes, P0113 and P0103. I cleared them with a scan tool and all is well.

Interestingly enough, I found recently on my 2020 that after the battery had been disconnected for a few weeks that all of the DTC's and readiness monitors were still stored and the mileage since DTC's cleared was within a mile or two of the odometer mileage. Apparently the newer car are storing these different. As mentioned above, your CEL will go out on it's own after a few drive cycles
