It will come back every time unless you A. Put in half a bottle of ceratec after every change or B. Put atleast 2000 miles on after oil change. Just the way it is.

Hello all! As an owner of what may be the highest mileage 2019 GT pretty much anywhere right now (38,000 miles) I had completely resigned myself to the bbq tick. It ticked from new. It ticked hot, it ticked cold. It ticked.

Regarding the mileage:
I drive my car year round, thanks to Blizzaks, and put a lot highway miles down. My car burns about a quart every 5000 miles and has been (other than a mis balanced drive shaft) completely flawless.

On my last oil change I popped in a can of Ceratec, half expecting to kiss my $25 goodbye, or worse.

Thing is, that junk actually worked. The bbq tick is gone. I’m frankly shocked that a product actually did...something.

Here’s a very brief video of my experience.

For me didn't even take a full can. Only Takes about 2-3 oz for the tick to go away (it could be different for everyone)

For next time, before you pour a whole can in. Idle the engine while ticking, then measure out a few oz Keep adding till tick goes away.

Maybe it takes 1oz maybe it takes a whole can. But that crap ain't cheap so find out first😎

Same for me. I only had to use 1/3 of a bottle

Hey I think I have an mis balanced driveshaft. What were your symptoms? I have a lot of vibration in my driveline and can’t shift past 4k rpm

You gonna use it on the M2? 😂

No tick so far!!! I am still in the breakin period at 800miles. At least I can push it to 6krpm now until I hit the 1200 mile service. I can tell this car is going to rip.

M2 in garage.webp
