Hi everyone! I'm planning to add Ceratec to the oil on the next change, I have a 2017 5.0 car. As far as I understand one bottle of Ceratec is good for 5 litres of oil, so considering the V8 7.6 litres of oil requirement I should be using one and a half bottles of Ceratec. Do I put it on top of the 7.6 litres of oil or do I put less oil (450 ml less) and top it up with Ceratec for the full volume required? Thank you.

I have a Gen3, so I normally use 10.5 quarts(9.95 litres) and add a bottle on top of it. Seems to work well

Adding only one bottle is usually all it needs. Top it off with it.

1 bottle works fine. and "overfilling" by that much will not be bad.

In my 2018 I dumped a 5 quart jug in first. Then I dumped two bottles of Ceratec in. Then I filled each of the now empty Ceratec bottles with the second 5 quart jug and poured the rest of the 5 quart jug into the engine. So, I only had 10 quarts in the crank case. So far; so, good.
Cheers,

I own a 15. One bottle per oil change here. It does quieten down engine sounds.
