After getting the carbon fiber hood installed, I am considering deleting the Mach 1 side decals. I like the contrast of black/carbon vs the Grabber Blue, but I'm not so sure about the white stripe in the side decal. It seems out of place. Should I delete the side decals? Let me know. Thanks.

I vote to delete them, would give a cleaner look, imo.

You could delete them and try something else that would fit the car. Worst case scenario is you buy a new vinyl pack. These machs look good without the stripes šŸ‘

Now that the main hood stripe is gone, its absence has unbalanced the rest of the decal kit and made it look out of place. I say at this point, you might as well remove the side stripes too. That said, I feel compelled to add (this is purely my own opinion) that by doing these steps, you're slowly making the car look like any other Grabber Blue GT on the road. Just my 2-cents though.

Get the hood painted in Grabber Blue and get the Mach1 stripes not only back on the hood (modded for the scoop) but for the roof and the trunk, too.

Maybe leave the scoop unpainted.

Agreed, except the hood was already Grabber Blue until he put the carbon fiber on it. Ditch the carbon fiber as it makes the car look like ass. Just my .02

If you want it to look like a GT, then yes, delete them.

My thought is keep them, the stripes are subtle and break up the blue, they also work well with your wheels. Either way, make it how you want it, and be happy with your decisions.

I say get a set of side stripes in a carbon fiber look to match the hood, then if you feel really bold, get a custom hood decal made to look like the original in a grabber blue to break up all that CF.

I am a fan of the decals and badging on this car. In your case, I voted to remove them. I think, with that hood, it'll look better without. Good luck with your decision.

I’m not sure why you would remove the stuff that makes the car identifiable as what it is in the first place. If you like the bits and pieces from the M1 package but not the look, why not just bolt the pieces you do like onto a regular GT. Probably cheaper anyway as you could pick and choose what you want and probably get better stuff anyway.
