Should I delete Mach 1 side decals?

Stickers aren't what makes it a Mach1. The front grill and facia, the rear valance, exhaust, wheels, spoiler, and all of the upgraded mechanical bits are what set it apart from a GT. If Ford had painted the decals on, then it would be special, but they opted for the cheap solution which just looks cheap. Mine will be going away for sure.

I'd keep the decals. It's a nice extra touch. Ford did the same thing with the GT350s, decals/stickers instead of painted stripes like the GT500.

That said, what makes the M1 special are all the GT350/GT500 parts that are calibrated/tuned to perfection. What an amazing car.

I can't say if you should remove them but I would. I do not like any alphanumeric "badging" and remove all I can except when they leave holes if removed. Would love to lose my GT fender badges but not for hundreds of dollars to fill holes and repaint. Just waiting for someone to sideswipe both fenders and pay for it.

I’m not sure why you would remove the stuff that makes the car identifiable as what it is in the first place. If you like the bits and pieces from the M1 package but not the look, why not just bolt the pieces you do like onto a regular GT. Probably cheaper anyway as you could pick and choose what you want and probably get better stuff anyway.

To be fair, it would be a different hood and two decals. The Mach 1 is loaded with so many different things vs a GT such as subframes, brakes, loads of extra cooling, cool airbox, engine mounts, etc. Easier to start with an M1 and change the hood and remove 2 decals

Ultimately, it depends on what YOU like/want, not everyone else. Stand back away from the car and use a finger to block your view of the side stripes and see what you think of the look. Just simply removing the color input to your eyes of the stickers might give you your decision.

I like naked blue grabber cars, but I think those side decals add some extra flare in in a nice way, since you have flare going on hood, bring attention to sides breaks it up a bit.
I vote keep it, can always remove it in future if you want.

Maybe have someone re-create the white outline stripe that was on the hood and put it back to tie it together.
